Definitely a handy tool on the ice
I have used quite a few diferent tools to screw in ice ankers and to frill holes in the ice but the convenience that you can get both of them together in one pack is awsome. The quality of both the auger adaptor ans the ice anker driver are super sturdy and well manufactured. They both fit well into any standard half inch chuck of a drill and it also comes with a quick connect adapter so it is easier to swap them out.
Good solid unit if you own the Eskimo pistol bit auger.
Item arrived well packaged and first impression was how much heavier duty the hex shank was than my oem Eskimo ice screw driver (see photo). The hex on the eskimo brand is 5/16″and this one measures a beefy 7/16″ and the drill adapter attaches with a solid “click” to both attachments. The smooth auger adapter shaft itself is 3/4″ diameter with a hole to secure the auger which apparently only fits the “pistol bit” augers and not my Eskimo shark or Nils auger (which is my own fault for not reading thoroughly). Good, solid quick attach, just needs more adapters to fit the multitude of ice augers available.
