Nice stainless alternative to plastic grill prep kits
I have a similar plastic version of this I previously bought at Costco, but this is a nice stainless steel alternative to that. The stainless is fairly thin, but that seems intentional; it keeps the weight down while still feeling reasonably solid and not flimsy.

So far I’ve used both the smaller and larger containers for bringing food to the grill and unloading cooked food afterward. In the photos you can see the larger container being used to season vegetables before putting them on the grill, and another example where cooked prawns were placed in one of the containers after coming off the grill. One thing worth noting is that stainless conducts heat, so if you put hot food directly into the container it will warm up quickly. It didn’t get dangerously hot in my use, but it’s something to be aware of when handling it grill-side (An additional bonus: stainless won’t melt if it gets too close to the grill like plastic versions might.) The plastic lid for the smaller container includes a vent and gasket, which appears well designed, though I haven’t needed to use the lid yet while grilling. The included cutting board is also a nice and convenient addition. It’s a little smaller than I would normally choose, but it’s still large enough to be useful. It also includes a small rough patch that works like a garlic grater surface.

Overall the build quality feels good and it seems like a practical upgrade over plastic versions of similar grill kits.

Thick metal pan and nice seals on smaller dishes.
5 out of 5 Stars for this item. Nice quality, stainless steel has good thickness. The bottom of the pan and the lid are rippled to help with rigidity. The lids on the small plastic storage dishes have a nice seal around the edges with an air seal on the top. Simply place items in the dishes, put lid in place with a firm push down with the air seal open and then snap air seal closed. It really keeps the lids held nice and tight and the food warm or cool depending on how you present the dish. The lid on the pan is not a tight fit, rather is is more of just a lid to serve as a place to put the small dishes to keep your food dishes stacked neatly as you transport them. The lid for the pan should not be used to seal any thing other than solid food and food with a consistency of at least a casserole. The lid does NOT make the pan spill proof during transport. The cutting board is good quality and double sided. The edges of both sides have a recessed rim that will catch any juice from fruits or veggies to prevent it from dripping over the edges. Nice handle hole and the material used show very little if any cut marks after use. This is good to prevent contamination from residing in cut marks that happens on a lot of softer cutting board material. This set will handle transport and presentation of your food dish in a very nice manner.

    Carrying the Load
    Initial Thoughts:
Grill guys love tools that do it all without extra dishes or chaos—marinate meats, chop on the built-in board, carry everything to the grill, serve hot off the flames, and store leftovers. This stainless steel 5-in-1 system stacks/nests for easy transport, has a secure lid for smaller tubs, and that dating mechanism (date dial on the lid to track marinating time or freshness—genius for meal prep!). Smaller tubs handle 2 chicken breasts max comfortably, with good seals to prevent leaks. But if you’re spatchcocking a whole chicken (flattened and juicy), it’d be nice to see a deeper version for full coverage—no squeezing that big bird in or dealing with overflow.

    Review:
I’d like to see it a little deeper to take a spatchcocked chicken—covers are cool with good seal on the smaller tubs, 2 chicken breast max. Like that they have the dating mechanism!! These stainless steel trays/tubs are solid quality: durable, rust-resistant, easy to clean (dishwasher-safe vibes), and the nested design with carry handles makes hauling from kitchen to grill a breeze—no spills or juggling plates. The lid seals tight (great for marinating without fridge leaks), and the built-in cutting board (often on the lid or base) is handy for trimming or resting meat. Date dial is a thoughtful touch—twist to mark when you started marinating or when food was prepped (no more guessing on leftovers). Smaller size works perfectly for breasts, steaks, or veggies—plenty of room for seasoning and juices—but for a full spatchcock (that wide, flat chicken spread), it’s a squeeze; juices might pool or not fit under the lid fully. Overall 4.5/5 energy—versatile, pro-level organization, and the stainless feels premium, but a larger tub option would make it legendary for big cooks.

    Tips or Hacks:
    – Spatchcock sizing hack: Stick to the smaller tub for breasts/thighs (perfect fit), but if going full bird, look for XL versions in similar lines (Drip EZ has bigger collapsible ones that might inspire a stainless upgrade) or use two trays side-by-side for extra space.
    – Marinating pro move: Use the date dial religiously—set it when you add sauce/rub, then fridge it; no more mystery meat timing.
    – Transport win: Stack everything nested with the lid on—handles make it easy to carry one-handed while holding a beer (priorities).
    – Serving tip: Flip to platter mode post-grill—rest the meat on the cutting board section, juices contained, then serve family-style.
    – Cleaning hack: Rinse right after use (stainless wipes clean fast), dishwasher for deep clean—no scrubbing forever.
    – Upgrade idea: Pair with a bigger marinating bag or separate large tray for spatchcock days—keeps this system for everyday prep.

    Conclusion:
This 5-in-1 Drip EZ-style Grill Carry System is a grill guy’s dream for organized, mess-free BBQ life—great seals, smart date dial, multi-use stainless design, and easy carry/storage. Handles smaller cuts like a champ, but yeah, a bigger tub would unlock full spatchcock potential without compromise. If your grill routine is mostly steaks, breasts, or sides, this is a total win—add to cart for smoother sessions. For the big-bird enthusiasts, keep an eye out for larger variants in the line.
