This insulated holder is a really handy accessory if you like making ice cream with the Ninja Creami and want to take it outside the house. The container is designed to fit the pint perfectly, so you can drop the original pint straight in without transferring the ice cream to another container.

I have to be honest and admit that I do not have a Ninja ice cream maker at this time and do not own any of their pint sized containers that holds ice cream. When I saw this, it was newly listed and didn’t say you could ONLY use with a Ninja container. It wasn’t until after it arrived, that I rechecked the ad and it now states that it will only work with a container from Ninja and not by itself.
I work a very long shift when I work from outside the home. There is no freezer at the job where I can store ice cream but they do sell some ice cream that I don’t much care for. It gets very expensive and so when I initially saw this, I assumed I could just add ice cream to the container, refreeze it and use it as a personal thermos for ice cream. When it arrived, and I saw the design inside the container, I saw that I could do exactly that. I don’t need the additional container. It works just fine adding ice cream and letting it refreeze. Then in the morning, I grab it with my lunch and take it to work. Then, when I want ice cream at work, it’s there and available.
The container holds quite a bit of ice cream. It keeps it cold and frozen for many hours. It does start to soften after lunch but, as long as I keep it in the fridge, it stays solid until after I get home and place it back in the freezer.
The container is made from stainless steal. It took a while to learn how to open the lid. I needed to pull it up just a bit, then twist it off while lifting up until the cup opens up. It’s stainless inside and out. It has installation between the layers in the cup portion which, will keep the ice cream cold and frozen. The lid has a great seal and also installation within. Included is a foldable stainless spoon for eating your ice cream.
Together, it makes a perfect addition for work and/or home. Your children can use it for cold items like yogurt. You will be able to use this thermos by placing the yogurt cup into the container instead or loose. But, for me, it’s perfect for my ice cream. It last through my entire shift and keeps me supplied with cold, frozen ice cream.
This therms container is made with exceptional quality and with quality materials. It’s easy to use and works perfectly. I’t states you need a Ninja ice cream container to work however, I have never used one and it still works fine for me. It makes a great thermos and worth having on hand if you love ice cream at anytime.
