Overall I don’t think these are terrible, and they do work for their main function – voice and video communication. But the frustration during setup and the missing instructions mean I can’t recommend them.
Pros:
They feel fairly sturdy in your hand; they’re lightweight, but it seems like you’d have to drop them an awful lot of times in order for them to break.
It was easy to attach the lanyards, which is a rare find with electronics these days.
The video actually is very clear, as is the sound.
They arrived pre-charged.
Most importantly, the kids had a great time playing with them. We compared this set to another similar product, and everyone involved chose these as the winner.
The price ($19.99 at the time I ordered them) is a little lower than some other inferior brands.
Cons:
Getting the film to come off of the screens was way more work than it should have been.
Very short charging cables.
I wish there were color options other than the stereotypical pink and blue; what’s wrong with some bright cheerful primary colors?
New generation walkie talkies!
I got my daughter one of these sets for Christmas and she absolutely loves it! This is such a cute modern day walkie talkie that has video as well! Any friends of my daughters that comes over absolutely loves playing with her set (ages range from 3-10). I got this set to tuck away for a friends little one to have of her own.
The set comes with two attachable string sets for ease of carrying as well as two usb/type c chargers. I love that the set is rechargeable – no need to keep replacing expensive batteries!
For the price at the time of ordering of $18 it is one of the cheapest video walkie talkies I have seen and well worth the purchase for a little in your life!

This video walkie talkie is a great gift for a kids birthday , christmas gift, or just to play inside the house or outdoors. It comes with two walkie talkies, two c chargers and two neck bands. It has an easy on of switch in the left side and the right button is used to talk.
The top button switches screen views and if you hold it down, you can switch to different voices such as a robot, alien, kid, monster and high pitched girl voice. My kids had so much fun with this while they were outside. They were fascinated by the video and voice changer. They also used it all over the house and the range was great. The video quality is very clear and the movements are fast as well. It’s just the right size for toddlers. The speaker quality is loud and clear.
This video walkie talkie can be taken anywhere to bring loads of fun for kids. The voice changer really brings out their imagination.
