TLDR: Works well with most fruits and veggies, can be difficult to clean until you get use to it, comes apart easily
I got this to help make short work of our mandarins and oranges during the season as the trees are pumping out way more fruit than we can eat. The juicer makes short work of the fruits, rind and all. I found that putting the full fruit through the juicer brightens the flavors, but depending on the fruit, this can make the juice bitter. For fruits like Meyer Lemons, leaving the rind on makes the juice taste like a sour lemon candy – seriously nice surprise!
While the juicer is a little slow (think cold press pacing), it definitely does the job. It’s a bit on the loud side, but this is inline with most small blenders and other countertop appliances. The wide 5.7″ chute means less prep as you can throw most of the fruit in and reverse mode comes in handy for occasional clogs. It’s compact enough for the counter (8.58″ x 7.91″ x 17.28″) and clean up isn’t too bad as it comes apart and you can move pieces to rinse / clean the unit. After a few uses, clean up gets much faster when you’re use to it.
Overall: Strong option if you want better prep convenience (wide chute) with the benefits of a masticating juicer to extract the bulk of the liquid from the foods.
I’ve been using this cold press juicer for a couple of weeks now, and I honestly can’t stop bragging about it. I’ve owned a few juicers in the past, but this one is by far the easiest and most efficient I’ve tried. The extra-wide feed chute is a total game changer. I can toss in whole apples, oranges, even carrots without having to chop them up first, which saves so much prep time in the mornings. For someone who’s always in a rush, that’s a huge plus.
The motor is powerful but surprisingly quiet, and it really pulls every drop out of the fruits and veggies. The juice yield is amazing, way more than what I used to get from my old centrifugal juicer. You can actually see how dry the pulp is, which tells me it’s squeezing out everything possible. The juice itself tastes super fresh, smooth, and not foamy at all. It feels like it locks in every bit of flavor and nutrients, so you get that rich, natural taste that’s full of vitamins.
Cleaning is honestly the part I dreaded with my old juicers, but this one makes it so simple. It only has a few parts that come apart easily, and it even comes with a little brush that helps get into the tiny spots. I can have it completely cleaned and ready to go again in just a few minutes. The parts are also dishwasher safe, so that’s another time saver right there.
I really appreciate the reverse function too. Sometimes if I overload it with fibrous veggies like celery or kale, I just switch it to reverse and it instantly unclogs. No more taking it apart mid-juicing or getting frustrated trying to poke things through. Everything just flows smoothly and consistently.
The design looks really nice on the counter as well. It has this sleek black finish that looks modern and expensive, but it’s actually really lightweight and easy to move around. It doesn’t take up a ton of space either, which I love since I don’t like cluttered counters.
Overall, this juicer has been such a good investment. It’s fast, efficient, and ridiculously easy to clean, which makes me actually want to use it every day. I’ve been making everything from green juices to fresh orange juice and even trying new combos like apple, ginger, and carrot. If you’ve been thinking about getting into juicing but hate the prep or cleanup, this one makes it so effortless. Totally worth it.
I got this to try to be healthier with my kids. We love juice and fruit and this is a great way to have juice without the sugar. The is easy to use. The first time I was a little nervous, but this works well. It gets so much juice out and I often use the pulp in bread. The machine isn’t very loud and it’s surprisingly easy to clean. That was my biggest thing, if it’s hard to clean I won’t ever use it. The juice is delicious and my kids love it!
