Clear video, fun to use, setup could be improved
This is a really fun bird feeder once you get it up and running, but the setup process could definitely be improved. The instructions included in the box are very minimal and not very helpful. I had to spend time figuring things out on my own, including locating the reset button. The initial guidance made it seem like it would be plug and play, but that was not my experience.
The solar panel connection was also more difficult than expected. After reaching out to customer support and getting clearer instructions, the setup became much easier. Support was helpful, but better instructions from the start would make a big difference, especially for someone who is not very tech savvy.
Once everything is set up, it works really well. The video quality is very clear, and it is genuinely enjoyable to watch the birds up close. I live in Florida and regularly get blue jays, red-bellied woodpeckers, grackles, and cardinals, and this feeder has been great for observing their behavior in detail.
The feeder itself holds a good amount of food, and usually lasts me 4-5 days before it needs to be refilled.
I recommend charging it for overnight before installing and placing the solar panel where it gets strong, consistent sunlight. The cord for the panel could be longer, which limits placement options.
Overall, it works as intended, the camera quality is excellent, and it is a great value for the money. Just be prepared for a bit of a learning curve during setup.

I love it. No birds yet but hopefully soon. The features are really good I love the camera the alarms the night light everything!!! It has alot of cool features I didn’t mention.
I bought this bird feeder on a whim, and now I’m basically running a 24/7 bird reality show. The camera quality is surprisingly crisp — I can actually see tiny details on the feathers, and it even works great at dusk. The app notifications crack me up: I’ll be mid-Netflix and get a ping that “a Northern Cardinal has arrived.” The solar panel keeps it powered perfectly, and setup was easier than I expected. My favorite part? Watching all the bird drama unfold in HD — the blue jay is definitely the neighborhood bully.

It has a solar panel to power it. It can identify mandy different birds, having a paid version of the app, simialr to all the other similar feeders. It’s an easy to use feeder and easy to set up. It’s a fun feeder to have, giving a close up view of the birds who visit it. It’s a really good value.
