Have purchased three for various areas. The area rug sized pads are amazing, well cushioned and absolutely non slip. The runner size does not grip the runner and it slides all over. Five stars because it’s a great product for your larger needs, but I’d skip the runner size.
We bought thinner, washable rugs because we have dogs. So I bought several of these pads to give us cushion under all the rugs. They work GREAT! They don’t slip and they have a bit of a nap to help hold the rug in place on top of the pad. Great for our family.
I bought this to go underneath one of our area rugs, and it made a noticeable difference immediately. Before using it, the rug would slowly shift around whenever the dogs ran through the room or people walked across it. Now it stays in place much better.
The pad was easy to trim to the exact size I needed, and it doesn’t add a lot of bulk under the rug. It also gives the rug a little extra cushioning, making it feel more comfortable underfoot while helping protect the flooring underneath.
For such a simple product, it works really well. If you’re tired of constantly straightening your rugs, this is definitely worth picking up.
This Carpet pad is terrific! It is made with quality felt and the silicone not slip side works great…no sliding of the carpet!
Also I was very impressed there was no chemical smell when we opened the package. It was very easy to place and then also easy to cut to the correct size under the carpet so there was no pad showing. Definitely adds some cusioning to the feel of the carpet under your feet. I have bought two and getting ready to buy 2 more so that all our area rugs have these pads underneath them!
Silicone bottom works great on laminate flooring, the rug hasn’t moved at all. I like that the top is a bit textured to help grip onto the bottom of the rug, too. The 1/4 inch pad isn’t super thick, obviously, but it adds a good amount of softness and squish to the rug to make it more comfortable to walk/sit on. Want to buy a bigger size for another rug!
As expected, no slip so stays in place but did not work for under a washable rug. The rug is so thin that having this under it made the sides of the rug curl up. Returned.
