I’ve had this Teak Wood Bath Mat for about a month now and I gotta say it’s been a nice experience.
While it is wood, it feels no different than standing on Tile, but my favorite part is that I haven’t had to clean or scrub it,
because Teak Wood is naturally water resistant and doesn’t mold or mildew and for guys sharing an apartment bathroom this reduces the spread of athlete’s feet!
This bath mat comes in two pieces and has a magnetic connections. I have no clue why but if you wanted a wider stance or for partner to join your shower – you have the option of separating the mat sections.
I’ve also tried using it in my personal steam sauna and it’s been quite comfortable, looks great, slip resistant even when wet and durable under the high heat from the steam. Teak is one of those classy woods that makes your bathroom shower look upscale. I was highly satisfied with the experience.
I love the look of this teak, bathmat, and that I don’t have to step out on a rug that still damp or has any dirt or debris on it. I have two daughters and a dog that come trampoline in and out of the bathroom so it’s nice that this Matt has a clean look. I thought the two pieces with the magnets in the center were a little awkward, but it actually holds together quite well and I think it looks great with my bath accessories. Sometimes I do put a rug underneath to soak up the water and change it out once a week for a wash. Either way seems to work well. My only issue is that our bathroom is rather narrow and it’s placement does cause the occasional stubbed toe. But it’s not enough for me to go back to the old way of a cloth rug. I love how neat and clean this looks and feels on my feet. It also doesn’t move around on the floor like a rug would. It stays in place and I would recommend this for anyone. I really think this holds it.
Very beautiful, pre-oiled teak. Be aware that you have to take care of teak by keeping it from turning gray. You won’t have to oil it too regularly, so it is still low maintenance enough, especially since it comes very heavily pre-oiled.
We have a variety of teak items for the bathroom because it diverts the attention away from the outdated finishes. This is a great update for showers that have those unattractive plastic shower pans, just sharing that as a tip for anyone putting off remodels but unsure if you want to buy this teak set. I recommend the teak, and especially this set due to the good value you will get. Teak adds a warm touch to your shower experience because it is considered a luxury wood. It is also less harsh when you first step into the shower, because it doesn’t take as long to warm up compared to the ice cold feel of ceramic tile or marble.
Speaking of marble, teak looks amazing against marble. The warmth of the teak contrasted by light or brown marble is a very trendy design move.
I’m not sure the magnets are going to be useful if someone’s shower pan is sloped toward the drain positioned in the middle, but it’s a nice idea. Better than having a hinge between the two sides, since that could hurt someone. And better than having to screw the sides together, since that could break loose and damage the set.
There are multiple functions that this set could perform, just in your bathroom alone. For example, you could set these infront of your shower, if you have a lip that is hard to miss when stepping out of the shower. Or you could set these infront of your vanity. Why not all of the above?!

I was t sure about this since it comes in two pieces with attached magnets to hold them together making one large mat. But I have had it for several months and it works and looks great.
I’ve been wanting something like this for awhile because I read that regular bath mats tends to destroy your washing machine and dryer . These really don’t slip and look great and they won’t get smelly or gross
