I used this over a framed art piece where I didn’t want to deal with wiring, and it worked well for that purpose.
The brass finish looks nice in person and gives the artwork a warmer, more finished look. I like that it’s rechargeable because it keeps the wall clean without cords showing. The remote is helpful too, especially once the light is mounted.
The light is bright enough for accent lighting, not something I’d use as the main room light. It gives a nice glow over art or a small gallery wall. Installation was pretty simple, and the swing arm made it easier to angle the light where I wanted it.
The only thing I’d watch is battery life if you plan to leave it on for long stretches every night. For occasional use or evening accent lighting, it’s a good option.
Useful for artwork, hallway pieces, styled shelves, or anywhere you want a cleaner look without hiring someone to hardwire a fixture.
The right light for the smaller pictures. Remote adds flexibility. Charger included.
PICTURE LIGHT:
OVERVIEW: This is a battery powered LED remote controlled picture light.
INSTALL: Installation is straightforward as you can use the provided screws, cleat or just set it somewhere that is appropriate like I did.
THE DETAILS: You can turn on and off this with the switch or the remote. The remote offers more options like color temperature, dimming and timers. There are a number of white (color temperature) options. A USB-A to USB-C cable is provided. My lamp came with a charger which was a surprise.
IN USE: Although these are listed as picture lights I wanted to see if they would illuminate one or two vintage display cabinets that are large (4′) and have highly reflective glass. They did not work well for that as they brightly illuminated the upper part and dimly illuminated the lower part of one. This did not seem like the right light for my situation. Next I tried them pointing up and back as a picture light as a test before mounting. The poster I have, is apparently too large for this picture light. The light lacked enough illumination for this large artwork in my case. The light works great for smaller artwork. I will have to use the light elsewhere on the correct size picture.

This light is worth looking into for many reasons
Well made classy looking light that offers flexibility in placement by rotation and/or the swing arm. It is rechargeable having a long cord to reach a plug it when left in place and the wall fixture is a very quick install allowing it to be easily be removed if needed. There is a switch on the light for power or it can be controlled exclusively with the remote. The remote also allows you to set a timer, to control brightness from 10 to 100% and change the color temperature in 3 shades. Those being warm, natural and white light. Love having all the choices, which makes finding the right setting to show off your artwork very easily attainable. I got this to put over a picture on the wall with the intentions of leaving it on all night to offer illumination in the dark, however, I found that the next morning the battery had drained. I can’t say how long it actually lasted, but that isn’t really a deterrent for me. I can plug it in below it and place the cord behind the picture and leave it like that if I choose to or set the timer and have it shut off after going to bed, in order to save the battery . The best thing about it being rechargeable is it allows for easy installation I did myself, without having to hire someone to hard wire it. The light really draws attention now to what was a dark corner, and adds much needed ambience to the room that it was seriously lacking. I feel this product is worth checking out. Compared to others I have, I would say I would pick this one again for ease of use and especially the price. It looks very similar to one that cost triple that had to be hard wired.
I’m impressed with the quality and functionality of this picture light. Here are my thoughts on it:
Pros
-Very easy set up. The light comes with a mounting bracket that one person can easily install. All you need is a level and screwdriver (or driver). I used my own anchors but the box does include some as well. Once the bracket is installed the light slides onto it and you’re done. Be sure to charge the light with the USB-C cable first.
-Looks great. I got the light installed and turned it on and love the look. Mine is the brass option. The feel is great with the metal design.
-Works well. The light has multiple setting for color and brightness. All are controlled with the provided remote. You can also set a timer for the light to automatically turn off, the range is from 30mins to 8 hours.
-So far great battery life. I charged the light to 100% when I first received it and a week later with sporadic usage I have not needed to recharge it.
Cons:
– I would have like them to hide the power switch a little better. With the brass version the placement is very obvious and takes away from the overall look.
– I had to adjust the mounting bracket very slightly. When I first installed I noticed about an 1/8″ slant where the top of the light pulled away from the wall. Not a big deal but I’m a perfectionist and like mounted things to be flush. A nicer bracket would fix this.

The battery life lasts pretty love it was very easy to install, it functions well and ifnof great quality! The light is really bright which helps whatever area it shine on to stand out!
