I used it to decorate my bathroom, making it more beautiful. My favorite feature is the heating and defogging mode of this LED mirror. It allows me to use it for my skincare routine just one minute after showering. The automatic power-off heating function also ensures I don’t have to worry about incurring high electricity costs.

Wow. There so much to say that I don’t know where to start! Let’s break it down shall we…
Size. Advertised as 28″ x 32″, my manual measurements of the outer edges came up a tad shy of what was advertised to 27.25″ x 31.5″. While both differences are less than an inch, it may matter to some with the tightest of spaces. This mirror is also a floating mirror meaning that there is a gap between the wall it’s mounted on and the mirror itself. I love this look and is one of the main reasons for my order. The size itself is not as large as I expected, and would be better suited for smaller spaces to give it a more expansive look. If you have a larger space, it’ll dwarf this mirror and make it seem much smaller than it is.
Lighting. This mirror by MISSDAY employs dual lighting. There is vanity lighting front and center around the perimeter of the mirror to illuminate your visage. The light is dimmable with three settings from bright daylight white (6000K) to cool white (4000K) to warm white (3000K). The secondary or ambient lighting is back lighting and wraps around the circumference of the mirror. This light is not as bright as the main lighting by design and is not dimmable. While there is plenty of light coming off this unit, it’s not quite bright enough for a full bath in my opinion, and will definitely suit powder rooms or makeup counters much better.
Controls. All lighting functions are controlled by touch buttons located in one of the corners of the mirror. There are three buttons in total, one each for perimeter lighting, the ambient (circumference) lighting, and one for the anti-fog functionality. These buttons are simply represented by images (no words).
Power. The LED mirror is powered by your standard grounded (3-prong) 110V-120V plug. The cord measures 5 feet (60 inches) long. The power unit is placed in the same area as the touch button controls. This is an important notable as this mirror does require a power source, and with the shorter cord, it’s something you need to keep mind when thinking about the space where you want this to occupy.
One other notable about the power is that I believe the intent of this unit was to be hard wired and not plugged in. I say this because there is no accommodation in the frame for the power cord to be slipped through. This causes the mirror to be uneven as the frame will pinch the power cord where you decide to slip it out from behind. I thought about cutting out a hole, but with the ambient light around the circumference of the mirror, it really wasn’t possible. If the amount of light is sufficient for you, you may want to consider hard wiring this mirror to the existing light source. If you hang this mirror 5″-8″ over the power source, it will rest completely flush against the wall.
Installation. Tools you will need to make installation a breeze includes a ruler, a drill gun, a hammer, and a screwdriver. If you have a long level, it will also make the job much quicker and you can forgo the ruler. The drill gun is to pre-drill a hole into the drywall for the wall anchors, and the hammer is to hammer in the wall anchors. If you will be installing this were there are joists, the drill gun and the hammer are both not necessary. The screw driver can be a manual one, although a power one will make installation even easier and faster. Installing this mirror is very simple and is very similar to hanging a large picture. A wall bracket is provided along with wall anchors and screws. For this mirror the outer edge of the frame has an offset of 1.5″ from where the mirror will hang on the track, so when you decide the top height of where you want to place it, be sure to adjust for this distance when mounting the tracks to the wall. Once the mounting tracks are in place, you simply hang the mirror onto the rails. Once the mirror is set on the rails, it’s free to slide along the track so you can easily center it horizontally. Total time mount this mirror was less than 5 minutes literally! I spent more time getting my tools out than I did using them to install the mirror. Keep in mind, I did not hard wire this mirror to the power source. If you want to do that, you will need wire caps and it would take more time, but not much more if you know what you’re doing.
Overall, I love the mirror, and I love how easy it is to install. It doesn’t emit enough light in my opinion to replace my existing lighting in the bathroom, but in my powder room, it may make the cut, maybe… the verdict is still out on that one… Having this installed in the powder room, I obviously will not need the anti fog feature; but it doesn’t mean I didn’t test it! After turning it on, I place a pot of boiling water on the sink counter and although it fogged up immediately after placing the pot down, it dissipated just as quickly! The unaccommodating cord is the weakest point, but otherwise a solid performing mirror.
As the mirror was recently installed I obviously can’t attest to the quality of the LED and electronics, but if anything goes wrong any time soon, I’ll be sure to update this review.
This 24×36-inch bathroom mirror is incredibly easy to install—simply secure the mounting plate where you want it, then hang the mirror. It can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. When I installed mine, I removed the plug and connected it directly to the wiring on my wall switch. This way, I can easily control the power with the switch—it’s fantastic.
This is a great size for over the sink. I thought it would be brighter. I need another light source to get ready in the mornings. I like the defogger; it works nicely. You have the option to wire or just plug in, which is convenient. The 3 light temps are good depending on the time of day and other lighting. I appreciate the dimming feature for a nice, cozy bath. This is a cool way to give your bathroom a quick upgrade.
