There's a lot to like!
Here’s the thing about shower heads with many spray choices: how many do people routinely use? My old one had three choices of which I only used two. But maybe that’s just me. Here’s the thing about THIS shower head with many spray choices: even if you only use a few it’s got something for everybody in a well-designed, attractive package. The spray selections run from a gentle rain to actually a little painful. And that’s just where the good things begin. It’s beautiful. It’s easy to install. It feels solid. It’s well thought out. The selector knob is smooth. The magnetic hand spray is a game changer in that you don’t have to find the holder and firmly seat it while you’re being sprayed in the face and it fights you all the way because of a stiff twisty hose which never relaxes into the right curve. Which brings me to the last great feature of this product (and which I checked for first upon opening it)…the hose is a very flexible stainless steel number that hangs limply and doesn’t need to be wrestled into place. It goes where you want it to. Overall, this is a hard recommend from me because it’s the first showerhead in a long time that has made me want to get rid of my old one.
Finally it's hooked up
This was a complete pain to install. The setup is overly complicated to the point that my father couldn’t figure it out (though he didn’t look at the directions). I was finally able to get it hooked up only because I did look at and followed the instructions—thankfully, they’re very clear, precise, and easy to understand. That said, the way this thing is designed is incredibly convoluted, and even with clear directions, it was still a pain to put together.
They do provide all the tools you need for installation, which is a plus.
Once I got it hooked up, though, it turned out to be quite nice. I have very low water pressure, but there was at least one setting that made me think I might finally get a quality shower. It’s also an absolutely beautiful shower head—honestly, an utter work of art in my opinion. They even include plumber’s tape to help prevent leaks, which I definitely recommend using.
I can’t yet speak for how long it will last, but it feels durable and seems to be made of good-quality materials. Only time will tell.
If you’re up for a challenge, and looking for a good shower head ,This is probably the one for you.
