A dang nice kit for the money!
It’s hard to believe you can get such a nice tool at this price. It includes so much. Just the gun would be a good value. You also get a nice gun level regulator to ensure correct pressure. It can dial a nice pressure in right about 40 psi. The gun feels durable and is fully metal. I like the metal threads on the paint pot as plastic threads suck.
I chose the 1.4. The 1.7 should be good for heavier body primer/fillers. The 1.4 is a good general purpose that functions well for many base coats. The 1.3 should give fine spray patterns for clear coats.
The set even has filters for the paint and a brush for easy cleaning. It’s a lot for the money. Finally, the gun itself just looks cool with its two tone paint fade. I like it a lot.
Decent spray gu
This spray gun works well for different projects. I used it for painting, and it gave a smooth and even finish. It takes a little practice to get used to, but once you do, it works nicely. The build feels solid, and the parts fit together well. It doesn’t feel like it will break easily. Cleaning it after use is also important, and it wasn’t too hard to take apart and rinse. It’s good for car paint and other projects where you want a cleaner look than using a brush. You can control how much paint comes out, which helps avoid drips. Overall, this is a good tool if you want to do painting projects at home.
Good product with nice features
This spray gun has some nice qualities upon initial review. I don’t have a current project to test it on. Compared to other guns I have purchased, it is well made. Unlike some of those guns, it comes with a regulator and a filter which is appreciated. I will update the review after using it. So far I am really happy with it. The price is reasonable.
Quick and easy to use
I like how easy this was to get setup. I am so tired of the quick releases that barely seal, this one is solid and lets you get to work right away.
I do not do a lot of painting, I do more with varnishes, but I gave this a shot with some automotive paint I had sitting around, just to cover over a sun bleached/ pealed area of paint on a lower quarter panel. It was a smooth flowing process, and let me drop on a high gloss with no base cover, just a quick easy sanding job in the area.
I was able to cover about a 2 by 3 x 2 area in a few minutes, then follow up with another layer the next day just to be sure it was a fully sealed area.
Finally had an opportunity to try this spray gun out, and it’s awesome! I sprayed paint and top coat, and it did a great job with both. I did thin my paint just a little for a smooth finish, which is what I normally do. I love that I can use my air compressor instead of charging batteries like I’ve done in the past. This gun is easy to clean and to put back together. I expect it to last for years. It’s sturdy and well made.
