Considerations

This is a magnificent vintage style grinder
Take note of the flywheel easy to turn. Most others have vertical mounted wheel wheels which are hard to turn and hard on your shoulder. When you’re older you like things that are easier to move.
The quality and workmanship are second to none it’s worth every single penny and then some. It’s super easy to change the grind and once you set it you lock it into position and forget it.
The grind is more consistent than that of any electric burr grinder I’ve ever used.
I was upset when my electric grinder plastic parts threatened to break on me and this is more like survival gear it won’t break. Made to last for centuries it just needs a little bit of oil on the shaft where the flywheel is.
For a heaping 2 tablespoon scoop it takes about 3 to 4 minutes of grinding but to me it’s a labor of love. I buy un roasted beans and roast my own so I need the most consistent grind for my pour over. The results are absolutely phenomenal.
This is not only a beautiful piece of workmanship, it is also extremely fun to use and functional.
