Very cool and elagant looking, however to make it easier to hook up to a hose you will need the following. A 90 degree elbow to attch to the inside of the spicket brass fitting. Additionally a 3 ft garden hose that will come up through the bottom and attch to the 90 degree elbow, this will make it much easier to attch to another hose that supplies the water or just bring your hose up through the bottom and connect. I used the smaller hose just to get the connection past the bottom of the water column. I tried to attach a hose directly to the brass spicket fitting but there is not a lot of room and it was kinking the hose, the 90 makes this much easier.
Obsessed with this little fountain! Got it for my backyard patio, and it’s such a fun, charming touch. The stainless steel faucet feels sturdy, and the water flow is nice and quiet—no loud splashing. Put it by my potted plants, and now it’s the first thing guests comment on. Super easy to set up too, just hooked it up to a small pump (not included, but worth grabbing). The coating looks great even after a few rainstorms—no chipping yet. 10/10, adds so much personality to a small space!
It’s very nice but the plumbing fittings do not work. I had to go buy a flange nut to hold the valve in place because the fitting they provided leak. There isn’t enough Teflon tape in the universe to make that fitting seal up, no matter how much you tighten it.
We all remember seeing in the movies the old fashioned hand water pump. They looked great. We got ours to put in our front yard where it would look uniquely different from our neighbors.
It is made of Cast aluminum (not iron) and is lightweight, rust-resistant, and weatherproof.
It has a Vintage design column with a golden faucet and is stylish and compact at 28 inches tall.
We connected ours by using a section of a hose around 2 feet long with ends to our faucet to the water pump which gave it it’s water supply.
It was easy to install and it looks great in our front yard.
