Absolutely love it! Cut the best french fries! It struggled a little with a sweet potato. That’s why I gave it four stars. It sliced onions, bell peppers, zucchini, cucumbers, and squash for me.
My dominant hand is damaged so handling a knife is difficult especially when cutting hard vegetables like sweet potatoes. I also know I am not strong enough to use the cutters that are hand driven. THIS electric cutter is absolutely AMAZING!!! It only takes seconds to cut an entire potato and it is effortless. Even the cleaning is not too bad at all. It will make a noise when doing the hard vegetables, but that is normal from videos I’ve seen. Anyone that wants to make French Fries, THIS is the machine. I ended up ordering the 1/4 in cutter as well because sweet potato fries don’t crisp up when not pretty thin in the air fryer. At the price of the frozen french fries, this should pay for itself in a short amount of time!!
This is an incredible device and makes my life so much easier. I was pleasantly surprised on how fast the fries come out and save my hands because I hate cutting. Even the sweet potatoes came out great but it’s best to microwave it for one minute and it slides right through the device
I have been wanting a fast way to cut potatoes without spending a lot on a tool that would rarely be used for other vegetables. I started out with a manual cutter and returned it because it wasn’t making the process any faster and it was cumbersome and frustrating to use.
So I splurged on this for $20 more than the manual cutter. My oh my is this nice. It is fast and easy and so worth the extra $20.
If you want to make your life easier and you don’t mind spending more to get a better experience, this is going to help make your time more efficient and enjoyable.
Juggling multiple meal preparations is not easy when they become a chore. I cut the entire bag and freeze them for easy cooking when I need them. This is so much healthier than the chemicals they put on frozen potatoes fries at the grocery store. This is a definite time saver and a delight to use.
NO hand strain, EASY to clea
super !! Love this, no more strain on my hands, blades are easy to change and clean. Being stainless steel, I can soak a moment, use sprayer, & let dry, or put in dishwasher. I have done potatoes, and diced onions, by slicing a couple of times putting in as whole (sideways) … worked wonderfully. Blades Very sharp, like any tool go slow be mindful of what you are handling.
