Product description

Nice 36″ firepit ring. Our older ring had been out in the elements for a few years and had started to show signs of rusting and aging so I thought I would upgrade it to a new one. This one is easy to put together using the tools they provide. Took me 20 minutes. The metal itself is a little heavier duty than my older one so I hope this one will last twice as long or longer, more on that coming up. None of these rings are really smokeless unless you set up your brick perfectly and the wood has to stay below the top of the firepit ring and after getting it very hot it will nearly be smokeless, but almost nobody sets their ring up perfectly and most people have wood coming out over the top of the firepit so there will be some smoke usually. If you really want these to last a decade or more you can pull it out of the stone ring and put it in your garage or shed, basically keep it out of the rain. The rain or sprinklers are the enemy as it will start to corrode and rust over time and lower its lifespan. You could also get a cover for it and just leave it outside, however even with a cover you will have morning dew and such that will corrode it over time. Only time will tell how resistant the coating is to the outside dew/rain but will come back and update the review after fall to show how it has held up. I’ll have to adjust my stone fire ring as this ring is just slightly bigger than the previous one we had.
Gimme more fire!
A good sized fire pit that you can take with you if you wanted a way to ensure no logs and whatever else you put into the fire pit escaped the pit.
Seems fairly well constructed, though I’ve seen other people use literally scraps of metal as a fire pit so having a nice solid portable one was really handy.
