I am enjoying this single electric burner, it is very easy to use and it’s great for me to use to boil water in my soup pot. The thick cord and the digital buttons make it easy to see how hot it is. I was a little surprised on how well this single burner heated up my pot and with the flat base the burner is flush to its base so I could put different size pots on it with ease for easy clean up. Received this electric stove top and the quality is well made. It is heavy and built solid.
It is easy to use, plug it in and get started. It heats up fairly quick. There are multiple setting on this which I kind of found a little confusing and after readying the instructions, it left me more confused. However, if the heat is too much, just turn the dial down. You will figure out how to use it in minimal time and it will be a go to for traveling, RVs, or if you need an extra burner at home.
It is very easy to wipe down and clean, but make sure you unplug it and let it completely cool down. It does give off heat so keep little ones and pets away from it.
At first few uses, it had a chemical smell, but after a couple of uses, that went away.
Recommended for anyone who has an RV, trailer, travels or needs and extra burner at home.
It’s fully functional and uniquely designed. It’s also very attractive and beautiful, perfect for stir-frying, making soup, or hot pot. It’s incredibly versatile. The temperature control is precise, the panel is elegant, and easy to clean. It heats up incredibly quickly, and the heating panel is larger than average. I’ve been using an open flame for a while now, and this ceramic hob is still excellent.
Surprisingly good
I am a home cheese maker and I’ve been using the electric version for a couple of months to heat up 5G pots of milk. Obviously I can’t comment on longevity. What I can say is that these are a universe apart from the little burners you get from big box stores. They heat quickly (sometimes too quickly!) and with a diffuser they have been almost as good as my gas stove and much easier to clean. If you need the juice and can afford the price these are a fantastic way to go. Highly recommended.
