Love a lot of things about this. The convenience, portability and stain removal are all great! My only critique is how small it is which makes doing larger areas challenging. Perfect for spot work but if you want to do a couch cushion or a chair, you will be at it awhile.
This spot cleaner is a lifesaver for carpets and upholstery. It’s lightweight, cordless, and has plenty of suction to remove stains quickly. Battery life is solid, and cleanup afterward is simple. Definitely worth the investment if you have pets or kids.
This cleaner is amazing! I wish I had one of these 5 puppies ago. I love that I don’t have to drag out the corded spot cleaner. It’s very effective in cleaning up urine if you catch it right away, also does a good job to clean up spots that had gone unnoticed. I spray the spot with a pet cleaner, vacuum it up and follow up with fresh water. It’s easy to empty dirty liquid, but I always disassemble it after each use for a thorough cleaning. Let it air dry, then reassemble and put back in the handy stand. My son bought one too, but he would only rinse it before putting it back in the stand. Eventually it clogged and wouldn’t work. After a good cleaning it works just fine. I haven’t had a problem with battery life. 15 minutes is more than enough time. I have an old dog, who has the occasional accident and two new grandpuppies who are reenforcing the usefulness of this cleaner.
I think this might be my first review ever. I typically ignore any requests to rate things, but this little machine deserves a review from me! I got the StainForce a few months ago and I use it every few days as needed. Not only has it gotten out set-in stains that have been in my carpet for over 5 years but it also gets out coffee and blood. My husband has diabetic foot ulcers and sometimes his bandages come off in bed and he walks on the carpet and I wake up with red spots everywhere on my light beige carpet. This machine takes each spot out in literally less than 30 seconds. The solution refills are expensive but magical. When the two solutions mix upon spraying you can see the stains bubbling up and coming out even before I turn it on. I have to be careful and pay close attention to where I spray it so that I know where the machine needs to suck up the grime because it virtually disappears a few seconds after I spray it on. The battery only lasts about 30 minutes or so before I have to recharge it but it recharges in about an hour or two. I have an upright steam cleaner for whole carpeted rooms, but I have to say, this spot cleaner works so much better! My upright Bissel HydroSteam does a good job but isn’t comparable to get rid of set-in stains like the Shark StainForce and is much quicker with barely any liquid and a quick drying time. Two thumbs up from me! This is one of my best purchases for all of the cleaning I have to do.
I’ve been really impressed with the Shark StainForce Cordless Portable Spot Cleaner. It does an excellent job cleaning up everyday messes, especially quick spills and spots. The battery life is solid—definitely long enough for small, fast cleanups, though not meant for extended deep cleaning sessions.
I wouldn’t replace my Little Green Machine for larger, heavy-duty jobs, but this is a fantastic companion for daily use. As a mom, I find myself reaching for it all the time. It’s super easy to use, simple to store, and quick to clean afterward.
Overall, it’s a great addition to my cleaning routine and perfect for staying on top of messes before they become bigger problems.
