Gave this as a gift for my Sister Ella’s.She lives in Michigan and she loves it.Just hard to clean the mold out of the little hose connection in the machine.I recommend using a straw cleaner .Have not checked with her to see if that worked, the only thing bad about this product is is it doesn’t have a auto shut off, so the means if the machine runs out of water the pump will burn up.
Power button does not turn off, cycles through fan speed then turns off
Would have given if 5 stars if not for the power button. The power button just like the fan speed button cycles through fan speeds, but the power button eventually turns the system off. It works great where we live because it is not humid. It does blow colder air (it is not an AC unit, so don’t expect that). If you live in a dry desert, then this will help. We use it at night so the AC does not have to run. Each family member has one pointed directly at them at close range. I noticed the farther away you are, the air is not as cold. It will not cool down a room like the pictures. It does cool down a person sitting close to it.
Perfect Replacement!!!
I got this unit to replace a portable unit of another brand that broke right away. I love this unit, particularly that the latch on the back is tight and that I can refill it from the top. I like that the pump is detachable, so that I can remove and empty the bottom tank prior to storage. Portable. Functional, super cool in 100 degree heat, even without the ice packs. Has a remote, but I don’t need/use it.
