Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersGood quality brackets for sheds using 4x4 material with a pitched roof. Very solid.
Well engineered set. The set includes everything you need for 2 corners, and then brackets to use at the top with a ledger board. You could use those top brackets to attach to the sides of two more corner posts on the high side, but it would look awkward to have the solid, 3-way bracket on the two lower posts, and then just the simple 1-way bracket on the two higher corners.

I have only dry fit them just yet. I’m still waiting to make my finish cuts on my lumber and get my anchor holes drilled. But they seem to be very nice construction. The slopes appear to be accurate, but most importantly they are CONSISTENT!!! (That has not always been my experience with other products.) So all 4 corners on the slopes match and line up nicely.

The steel has a nice finish and is perfectly good quality. I believe these are about 18 gauge, but I didn’t measure with a caliper and so I could be off. I’ve used 14 gauge material before which is definitely more beefy, but these are perfectly usable and nice quality. I believe they will hold up well and I definitely do NOT think they will twist or warp like some thinner gauge galvanized products.

The bottom mounts do have a drain hole, but the bottom is completely flat. So, depending on your concrete, you may want to do something to ensure that they aren’t too flush and that they drain effectively. You’ll probably also want to use some kind of spacer to make sure that your wood post isn’t sitting flush on the bottom that’s sitting flush on the concrete absorbing moisture. If they were going to improve anything, raising those floors 1/4 inch or including some type of spacer would be my only suggestion.

It looks like they also have an expansion kit so that you can expand between the two corners to add sections. Now that I have these and have seen the quality, I’m going to go ahead and order two of the expansion kits so that I can put a proper 24′ shed/carport on the side of the house. That is to say that I’m actually planning to buy again, so I would recommend to others.

Good quality and easy to use
While we have not had the money to get the wood yet and finish this project, I am quite pleased with the quality of these connectors. I build stuff all the time, and wood splits so easily today! These help prevent issues and the design offers support even when screws or nails have deteriorated in treated lumber. We are using them to add a carport to the side of a barn now that the weather has cooled off. Super easy to use and a good value in my opinion. I am very likely to get another set to build a pergola near our fish pond.

Strength of metal where u need it most in ur pergola build!
Heavy metal! Comes with every thing that u need screws and anchors too! The black coating is a really nice Matt black and really goes well with the wood it fits nicely into a 4×4 post installation is really straight forward and really easy with this system it gives it the strength of metal where you need it the most and the anchors they include give you that added sturdiness where you need it! This really gives me pice of mind knowing that it’s going to last years and years and threw wind snow ect and that is priceless!
