So I love this but it does have a dent in it on the rounded side of the top shelf. I’m u decided about returning and repurchase. If I end up with one that has another issue.
Cool little piece of furniture!
Purchased for my daughter’s dorm room and it’s perfect for adding storage around the mini fridge. Assembly was easy and straightforward. Build quality should get her thru a Bachelor’s degree!
Materials are on the cheap side. Don’t tighten the screws too tight or it will bend the metal. Please see attached photo for approximate dimensions of the fridge compartment. 4 stars because it will suffice to store snacks and extra beverages but material could be more sturdy. Also 3 of 4 nuts were missing so I did not install the back “support bracket” until I buy some nuts. Some of the laminate is already peeling off of one corner, noticed as I was unpacking. Nothing a little glue can’t fix though. I was able to install this without another person to help, it was fairly easy. The top was a little pain in the butt as the holes didn’t line up very well. I was able to secure 8 of 9 screws to the top. It should still work fine. For reference, my mini fridge is approximately 17″ wide x19″deep x 24″ tall
A couple minor flaws but overall grea
This is a great item. A 4.5 star rating would be just right. There were some flaws, but given the price point, ease of assembly, and overall look I’ll look past them and round up.
Pros:
This took about an hour for one person to put together at a not-in-a-hurry pace.
The instructions were very easy to follow.
This could be reversed to set up the shelves on swapped sides.
Extra hardware is nicely packed in something like a small tackle box.
This looks great assembled and it was exactly what I was looking for.
Fits a 3.3 cubic foot fridge in the main compartment.
While not made for tons of weight I don’t question the sturdiness of the unit if used reasonably.
Cons:
The packaging could be beefed up a little. Some of the metal structure was scratched up and two of the shelves have signs of being crushed/dented; see pictures. It’s not terrible but it is noticeable.
The crossbar that goes across the back isn’t big enough to fit the holes. It’s not a critical piece so I just omitted it, but it is annoying.
Two of the holes in the top piece didn’t line up, so it’s not secured as fully as intended, but it’s good enough for what I need.
