    Fabulous Quality
This is another fabulous bedding product by Whisper Organics. It is very hard for me to keep from ranting on how fabulous their products really are. I have had the opportunity to review many of their products and I am never disappointed. That being said, I usually choose only 100% natural fiber products and had my doubts about considering a comforter with down alternative. But, because of my past experiences with this company, I decided to give it a try. I am very glad I made that decision because this comforter is worthy of the Whisper Organics name in content and quality.

With this comforter, I get the 100% cotton I love and the easy to maintain and low allergy poly fill. I ordered the queen size for my full-size bed since I like extra hang with my bedding. As always, the material is excellent quality, the workmanship is top notch, and the fit is perfect. I haven’t washed it yet since I use duvet covers. But considering my past experience with this company and their products, I am not concerned with laundering issues.

Once again, this is another fabulous product from Whisper Organics that I am more than happy to give my full recommendation.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWarm & Cozy
I’ve tried several down alternatives over the years, but this one from Whisper Organics truly stands out. From the moment I unpacked it, I could tell it was thoughtfully made. The organic cotton cover feels luxuriously soft and breathable, and the microfiber filling gives it that perfect balance—lightweight yet cozy.

    What I love:

    – GOTS Certified Organic Cotton — It’s reassuring to know the outer layer is hypoallergenic and sustainably sourced. No weird chemical smells, just clean comfort.

    – Year-Round Comfort — Whether it’s a chilly night or a warm one, this comforter regulates temperature beautifully. I never wake up sweaty or cold.

    – Machine Washable — Huge win. It holds up well in the wash and comes out just as fluffy and smooth.

    – Quality Construction — The stitching is tight and durable, and the 285 thread count percale weave gives it a crisp, hotel-like feel.

I paired it with the matching duvet cover from Whisper Organics, and together they’ve completely elevated my sleep setup. It’s like sleeping in a gentle hug every night.

Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for a comforter that’s soft, breathable, ethically made, and easy to care for—this is it. It’s perfect for sensitive skin, eco-conscious buyers, or anyone who just wants a better night’s sleep. Whisper Organics nailed it.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our Usersgood quality alternative to
Microfiber Filled Down Alternative Comforter – Luxury Down Alternative Duvet Insert with Lightweight & Breathable Microfiber Filling and GOTS Certified Organic Cotton Cover (Full/Queen Size)

I got this comforter for our guest bedroom, so that the bed would have a nice, cushy bed cover.

First thing I’m going to say is this is not an all season comforter, at least in the climate I live in. With our current daily highs of 90-100 which dip down to around 70 at night, this comforter got thrown off the bed, even by the cool sleeper of the household. For myself, who sleeps hot, I will probably never want to use this comforter. That’s OK-it’s on the guest bed. Related to this, it does not seem like the lightweight cotton cover would add much heat to the comforter.

Personally, I prefer all-natural materials on my bed. However, a really good quality down comforter will run you three times or more what this one costs. (i’ve tried the cheaper ones and it’s not worth it!). So, if you want something more cost-effective, or you don’t want something animal based, this is a solid alternative.

One concern I have is that the filling is held in place by sewn through squares of about 9-12″. This is a less expensive, and arguably, lower quality method than creating a three-dimensional baffle, which will allow the filling to fully loft. In addition, I do wonder whether the filling will clump up at some point. The listing states that the comforter is washable, however, I always feel suspicious of washing microfiber/down alternative pillows and comforters, so proceed with caution.

Thusly: it will be helpful to get a duvet cover for this beastie. The comforter has loops to tie it onto the duvet cover, but unlike many comforters and duvet covers, these loops are in the middle of each side instead of at the corners. Due to this, you might be limited on which duvet cover will fit this comforter, and might do well to look at the duvet covers from this brand. I myself will need a duvet cover to go with this, and, preferring natural fibers, I would love to have a nice organic cotton cover, such as will be provided by this company.

Overall, as stated previously, this seems like a mid to high range quality, affordable alternative to down. I would recommend it with the reservations stated above.

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersA bit expensive for polyester but it has a good cotton outer and is a noticeable quality comforter.
We switched from a down comforter because the feathers kept emerging, and got this one instead. It has a synthetic fill, no down. But it stays warm, it’s soft, and it’s breathable. It’s worked well even on cool summer nights in the Pacific Northwest.

The outer fabric is 100% organic cotton with a percale weave. It feels smooth. We like the feel of it but it’s not a natural material on the inside, which is okay.

The comforter is thick and has a full look with its low-density, high-loft polyester insides. It traps warmth but still allows airflow. It’s not too warm for us, but it’s warm enough for summer and cooler nights.

The fill weight is 5 lbs 9 oz. Stitching looks standard but solid. The box baffle design keeps the fill from shifting – that’s a must for a big comforter. The 8 tie loops are helpful, especially since some comforters only have 4. Helps you attach a duvet to it.

After washing and drying, it fluffed up nicely. It looks good in a duvet cover and adds a polished look to the bed. It has a nice weight but isn’t heavy.

Overall, this comforter offers good warmth and quality construction. The organic cotton outer shell is a plus. But given the synthetic fill, the price feels high compared to down comforters we’ve owned. Still, it’s good for someone looking for an organic cotton outer with synthetic fill and good loft.

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our Usershis provides the comfort I look for in a comforter- five stars
During my youth, distinctly remember having a feather filled comforter. What allows me to bring up those memories easily, is the fact that there was always feathers escaping from a small hole, at one of the corners. I am referring to the main one I used for most of my childhood. The problem with that older style of comforter, is it was not compatible with allergies. Thankfully, my allergies are as not as bas as they were back then, however something like a feather filled comforter, will still affect me in disagreeable ways.

I am happy to say that there are great modern versions of the down filled comforter idea; albeit with a down filling that will not bring up allergy related problems.

This wonderful comforter from the Whisper Organics brand, is the best example of a allergy friendly option; when compared to the many variations I have owned over the last thirty five years or so.

This has the same type of microfiber filling that my favorite pillow does, so i know i am compatible with it for extended periods of time that would cover a whole nights sleep.

The price of this is right for me, because I know all of the material used are high quality. I am including the polyester material that is involved as well. I include polyester as a high quality material, because there are many different types it. A common misconception is that polyester is indicative of a cheap material. I completely disagree, because there is very high end polyester out there, and the type used with this comforter is an example of that.

I knew right away after taking this out of the plastic it came in, that this was going to be super comfortable, which then led to me being on point with that assumption.

I recommend this with enthusiasm and honesty. This will last a long time, if you take care to clean it correctly. I always clean things when they arrive out of the packaging. I found it easy to steam clean this with a garment steamer, on a lower heat setting.

    Comforter for all seasons!
was in desperate need of a new comforter and was a little overwhelmed by all the options out there. I’m not a fan of real down because of allergies, so I was looking specifically for a high-quality down alternative. This one caught my eye because of the GOTS certified organic cotton cover, and I’m so glad I went for it.

First off, the King/Cal King size is perfect—it drapes over the sides of my bed beautifully, which is something a lot of comforters struggle with. The material of the cover is soft and feels really luxurious, not scratchy at all.

But the real star here is the filling. The microfiber filling is incredibly fluffy and lightweight. It honestly feels like real down, but without the feathers or the heat. I’m a hot sleeper, and I’ve been using this for a few weeks now. It’s warm enough to keep me cozy, but it’s also so breathable that I haven’t woken up feeling overheated. It’s the perfect balance for year-round use.

This comforter has been a great addition to my bedroom. It’s got that soft, cloud-like feeling I wanted, and the quality of the materials is top-notch. If you’re looking for a down alternative that feels expensive but is also practical and comfortable, this is a fantastic choice.

    Great customer service and resolutio
I bought this and filling was seeping out of tiny holes. 5 months later I finally contacted Whisper and they immediately apologized and have a better version being shipped. This was a 1 star review that I have updated as this company definitely has integrity and wants to provide excellent products.

    High quality organic-outer comforter.
This is a very nice and premium comforter. This thing is sooooo soft! And it comes not vacuum packed, which is nice. I really dislike having to wait hours for a blanket or whatever to “inflate”. I have to say, it’s very warm, but not too warm! Generally I have mild winters here, so it’s going to be absolutely perfect and cozy. The fill is nice, nothing to write home about imo. The GOTS certification is amazing. You know it’s quality, and ethical!

I do like that the outside is all organic and natural, I mean that’s the part that will be contacting your skin after all! Unfortunately the inside is synthetic, but there are also upsides to that. They tend to be more robust/less prone to spoilage. The thread count is nice, and likely accurate (none of this multi weave number nonsense).

If you live in a hot climate, this probably will only come out in the winter, but otherwise, this is super nice!

Honestly, the only drawback is the price. It’s a bit steep for having synthetic infill in my opinion. That said, I still believe it to be highly worth it! This is no doubt a premium comforter. Now I just need to find a duvet cover to match!
