Make Your Piggy Bank Happy! Good Cuppa Jo (quirks & all) To Help Save Your $-I'm still going to SB's
This is a very goodlooking little coffee machine. Truly compact, so if you’re working with a small kitchen or a tiny corner of counter space, it fits right in without fuss. And for what it is, it makes a really nice morning cuppa Jo. If you’re trying to cut back on Starbucks trips, or you’re brand new to espresso machines and don’t want to drop big bucks, this is a solid starter. It would even make a lovely gift.

But I do have a few gripes.

I can overlook this but for me, the coffee is never hot enough but I have a microwave-problem solved A bigger annoyance—you’re kinda hard pressed to balance 2 mugs on the base to brew 2 cups. Using one vessel and then transferring works, but it’s an unnecessary extra step. The frother arm is also set at a weird angle, and getting your cup positioned just right for a good frothing is a battle.

My daughter set the whole thing up- she said it was tough to get the water running through it the first time, though she did get it going. She likes using it. Maybe I’m just too old for all this gadgetry, but I prefer my normal routine but it’s nice when she makes me a cuppa. so I’ll just leave her to it.

Still a handsome little machine, just with a few quirks.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis Has Become My Favorite Bar to Hang Around At, You'll Also Love It!
This espresso bar is exceptional! I was afraid it would be overly complicated, big and clunky, too much work, hard to clean, or just poorly made. Non of the paranoia panned out. It is so easy to learn and use, I even made espressos after having this cleaned and set up, less than 30 minutes after it arrived! The stainless steel finish of the entire unit is absolutely beautiful and it takes up far less space on my kitchen counter than expected. It’s rather thin, and isn’t too terribly deep, such a great footprint, so it is a wonderful pleasure to keep out on my counter. I’m even going to put my little coffee accessories shelf unit together to keep beside it. The coffee seems to be so much more tasty coming out of this unit. The water reservoir is big, plenty large yet is removable and seems like it will be easy to manage. It makes very little noise compared to the sizzling, buzzing and assorted noises made by the larger professional units I’ve looked into purchasing. The hardest part of this whole experience so far is keeping fingerprints off the sides of the unit when cleaning and putting it away on the back of the counter. The milk frother is wonderful and deliciously simple to use. FYI, please remember, whole milk froths up more than 2%, cream, non dairy and nut milks all have their own levels of frothiness. All in all, I am quite thrilled with the looks, quality, ease of use, and most of all the flavorful tastes this machine provides. Considering all of this, the reasonable price is practically a gift. This arrived wonderfully packed and protected, was easy to unpack, clean, and set up. I can’t wait to try the over six different styles of drinks I’m already thinking of making- it does it all. With some instructions provided, no recipes though, all is explained and understandable. It’s been awhile since I’ve used a cappuccino machine, and even though this is so much more, it was not difficult to resume the joy I felt ages ago when making my first coffee drinks. I cannot yet speak to the longevity of this unit, as its only been here a short while, but I am confident in this unit, and I am also convinced that I will fall in love with it completely within about another week, once I’m confident in using it. The most difficult part of this whole adventure will be finding small cups to fit under the unit. (Edit-9.13.25-Wrong->I easily found great mini mugs in so many different styles & different materials right here on Amazon & got two completely different types of sets- both inexpensive) Its a long way from my voluminous regular coffee mugs that I had gotten used to using with my regular coffeemakers, percolator, and french press. May they rest in pieces in my cupboard! I recommend this wholeheartedly and without reservation-100%! (Edit 9.13.25- Note- They recommend something called a burr mill to use instead of a grinder for the beans. I’m not familiar with these, so I will continue with my grinder until I can check into these- but I thought I’d mention it since it was something I hadn’t known of prior to having this unit.) I still recommend the same 100%, am still using my grinder & am still thrilled with my daily morning coffee drinks

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersAmazing for the price and size!
For background to my review, I’ve been interested in specialty coffee for several years now and am fairly proficient for an amateur at brewing V60, French press, and Moka pot. However, I did not have experience in espresso prior to this purchase.

I’ve always wanted an espresso machine but didn’t want it enough to spend the money or make space on my counter for it. I was very happy to see this machine pop up on my Vine list and quickly snagged it to give it a try. My first impression is that I am surprised how small it is since my friend’s Breville Barista is probably twice the size of this thing at least. The build quality is quite decent for the price, especially the water tank which can be removed for easily filling/cleaning. The only component that was noticeably cheap to me was the portafilter.

As far as performance, it worked quite well with making a latte for myself. I used the 2-cup preset and 12g of Aldi Peruvian beans ground with my hand grinder. It produces a pretty decent crema from what i can see. The milk frother is a bit slow but does a good job heating and frothing the milk. Again, I am not a barista or an experienced espresso machine user, but I was very satisified with what I made and enjoyed it as much as I would a latte from Starbucks. I’m also really happy with the size as it fits nicely next to my SCA-certified GE Cafe Specialty Drip machine. Definitely recommend considering this if you’re looking for a small and affordable espresso machine!

I recently purchased the Stainless Steel Compact Espresso Machine, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my decision. This sleek and stylish appliance not only enhances my kitchen’s aesthetic but also delivers a robust coffee experience that rivals that of a caf.

    Design and Build Quality

The first thing that strikes you about this espresso machine is its sleek stainless steel finish. It’s compact, making it perfect for any kitchen countertop, even in smaller spaces. The build quality is impressive; it feels sturdy and durable, giving you confidence in its longevity.

    Espresso Quality

The machine excels in brewing rich and flavorful espresso shots. With a consistent water temperature and pressure, it extracts the best from the coffee grounds, resulting in a full-bodied espresso with a nice crema on top. I’ve experimented with different beans, and this machine seems to handle them all remarkably well.

    Steam Milk Frother

One of the standout features is the steam milk frother. It’s easy to use and heats milk efficiently, creating a creamy and frothy texture that’s perfect for cappuccinos and lattes. I appreciate that the frother has a good range of motion, which allows for various frothing techniques, catering to both beginners and more experienced coffee enthusiasts.

    Removable Water Tank

The removable water tank is a significant plus. It’s easy to fill and clean, reducing the hassle of daily maintenance. With a decent capacity, it allows for multiple cups of coffee without frequent refills. The tank also has a transparent design, enabling you to see the water level easily, which is a thoughtful touch.

    User-Friendliness

This espresso machine is user-friendly, with intuitive controls that make it simple for anyone to operate. Whether you’re a seasoned barista or just starting your coffee journey, you’ll find it easy to brew your favorite drinks. The setup was quick, and I was making my first espresso within minutes of unpacking.
