You want to vacuum the whole house full of carpet and kids? This is not for you. Hard would floors? Pets and rice on the kitchen floor? Man is this handy. Nice and light keeps a charge I like the light so I can see the dog hair and stuff on my floor. Good suction and the canister empties easy. Start empty and do one session and look at the canister. YOU should be ashamed of yourself. Use this 5 times a day it doesn’t break down easy charge
Powerful little vacuum! Arrived partially charged and tried it out in the trunk of my car and was pleasantly surprised at its suction and tools to reach crevices, without getting into the back of the car myself. Once it was fully charged, I used it in my entire car and it was terrific! Very powerful, with two controls to have more suction and another to use tools. Tools are easy to insert and use and made no difference in suction, was same power. Also easily able to dispose of contents once I was done with a simple push of a button. Sleek compact design to keep unit together is great feature!
Upright is very heavy. after cleaning 2 rooms, my arm was a wet noodle. ( NewYear’s resolve for pilates)
Great suction, pulled 90 %of particle along carpet molding.
Wand is tricky to maneuver into its resting cradle on canister.
Floor wand is just open scoop, so really difficult to push along carpet, but great on bare floors.
Nice to have a powerful varnishes option for vac car in garage.
The “pet hair” attachment is nothing revolutionary, same as furniture with agitator. That brush moves, but lightly. However the UPRight agitator really PULLs you across the carpet.
This was to replace 20yo Dyson. This Kenmore is generally heavier plastic. My dyson was great DESIGN engineering, but a complicated transformer toy.Many plastic gizmos cracked or tracked small toys, so I was dis/assembling its digestive track OFTEN. Kenmore is better @ Vacuuming, but it is not as tired as the ol’ dirty Dyson.
I “feel” Kenmore is better quality than conflicting Shark reviewsOn Amazon.
The days of your mamas rock solid Vac has passed. Overall: satisfied-$200 Kenmore is a good bet for couple of years of good service. My Dyson was $600. but required lots of babying.
My mother-in-law has a Shark version of this hand vac and my husband really wanted one. He checked around and found this Kenmore. It works even better than his mom’s. The handle is much better and that was the deciding factor, along with a better price. Very happy with this purchase!
Absolutely love this vacuum! It is so well balanced (weight-wise) that it is effortless to move around. If you are vacuuming, you can rest the canister on the edge of the table or counter and it won’t fall over. I did not realize how much I would like this feature. It does have a disposable/cleanable hepa-filter, but works fine without the filter installed. So, I can vacuum any time. I don’t have to think “Shoot, I wanted to vacuum today, but forgot to order filters.”
The joints are well-articulated so it is very nibble. You can easily vacuum around corners and such. The low profile makes it easy to vacuum under most furniture.
I love that it is cordless. It recharges pretty fast.

I love this little Kenmore. First, it has an elegant design. Cordless vacuums end up being displayed. This little vacuum looks classy, and takes up very little room. It is easy to use. It comes with a great little manual which is so unusual these days, but it is so easy to figure out that you don’t really need it. The manual is nice to have, though.
It has excellent suction and the charge lasts. I have yet for it to loose power while I am quick vacuuming around the kitchen. I don’t have pets but humans live here and we do shed. It handles hair beautifully.
I own 3 Kenmore vacuums. They have powerful motors, they have excellent functionality, they are affordable and they are built to last. I still have my Kenmore cannister vacuum that I bought in Jan 1986-when there was still a Sears- it has a 4.1 motor. It will be 40 years old and it is still a workhorse. I bought the Kenmore upright vacuum last year, based on my experience with my old cannister vacuum. I was not disappointed. I LOVE that vacuum. And now this little handheld vacuum. What a gem.
I don’t know about other Kenmore products but these folks know how to do vacuums.
