I’ve been using the Gourmia pizza oven several times since buying it. We have tried both fresh dough and frozen pizza and we were blown away by what a great job this oven does, especially for the price! The fresh dough pizza has just the right amount of chew and crispiness and the frozen pizza tasted just a delicious.
The flavor and texture are much closer to what I’d get from a pizzeria compared to my regular oven. My only minor nitpick is that the pizza stone is white. You cannot get the stains out of it, but it just adds character!
The controls are so easy and you choose your options with just a push of the button.
Overall, if you want an affordable countertop pizza oven that delivers reliable results, I definitely recommend the Gourmia.
I was wanting to get a toaster oven to replace my pop-up toaster. This has done that plus works as an air fryer and now I ordered a pizza peel and am now making homemade pizza. I even started cutting up the fruit we don’t eat as it gets old and use the dehydrate function to keep from throwing it away. Try making your own raisins, store bought are disappointing now. This thing has been great.
Things to be aware of:
It is large and fits best in corners.
It takes a while to heat up for making pizza.
Controls are not the simplest but are acceptable. Avoid this if you are easily frustrated.
If you are thinking about it just buy it. It’s not a bad price for a nice toaster oven and does so much more.
Update on original review
Originally I rated this as 3 stars. I think I got a dud. The door did not close tightly and smoke and heat come out the gap at the top and side of the door. See the photos. I did buy another one and the door closes perfectly so I changed the rating to a 5. It makes excellent pizza and the air fryer works great. Pros: presets work great, it has a manual mode, it has controls for both top and bottom heating elements, air fryer works great, light stays on so you can see how your pizza/food is cooking. Cons: the touch controls are temperamental, outside gets a little hot.
I bought the Gourmia Indoor Pizza Oven Air Fryer Toaster because I wanted something versatile that could handle more than just frozen pizza, and it has quickly become my go-to kitchen appliance. Out of the box, it feels sturdy and well-made, with a sleek stainless steel finish that doesn’t take up as much counter space as I feared. The digital controls are clear and simple, and the 6 presets save me time—especially when I don’t feel like fussing with temperatures.
The pizza stone is the real standout feature. I’ve tried it with both store-bought and homemade dough, and it delivers a crisp, evenly cooked crust that honestly surprised me. Beyond pizza, I have used it to air fry, toast bagels, and even reheat leftovers without drying them out. At 1800W, it heats quickly and cooks efficiently, so I’m not waiting forever for dinner.
For me, the biggest convenience is that it combines several appliances in one—I don’t need a separate toaster oven, air fryer, and pizza oven cluttering my kitchen. Cleanup has also been easy, as the removable tray and accessories wipe down without hassle. If you want a true multi-cooker that doesn’t compromise on pizza night, this is worth the investment.
I am very impressed by the Gourmia Indoor Pizza Oven Air Fryer Toaster! It does it all. From making pizza, air frying, baking, broiling, toasting, even dehydrating. It has completely replaced several of my old appliances and saved counter space.
The pizza function is awesome. With the dual temperature zones and the included pizza stone, I can make delicious pizzas at home in just minutes. Great for both fresh pizzas and frozen pizzas!
The air fryer and toaster modes are great too. Fries and veggies come out crispy and I can easily toast a bagel or any bread. Cleanup is easy and it has been a great product to have.
If you’re looking for a versatile, powerful, and space-saving appliance, this is it. It’s quickly become my favorite kitchen gadget. Highly recommend!
I’m a retired professional chef. While mine only gets to about 750 degrees, it still makes a great pie. Does take a while to heat up though, almost 30 minutes. For the 100 bucks I spent (on sale),and having a decent electric pizza oven right in the kitchen, it’s well worth it. The stone is the Achilles heal. It is extremely fragile and will crack easily with ANY significant temperature changes. NEVER, EVER, put a cold or frozen pizza on it.
This makes great pizza. I’ve used premade dough from the grocery store and my own dough and have had excellent results.
A sprinkling of semolina keeps the pizza from sticking off the peel/stone and the oven does an excellent job with the various pizza presets to ensure the crust and toppings cook consistently.
This oven preheats pretty quickly for pizza. The stone only takes around 20 or so minutes to hit around 620f using my IR thermometer and in ~30 minutes I can start launching pizzas.
For thin crusts I’ve got a delicious pie made in about 4 minutes. I do roatte halfway and I’ve used convection every time with amazing results.
I’ve made thin crusts, Neapolitan, and bubbly flatbreads and bread sticks so far.
I launched 3 pizzas back to back to back, with about a minute in between, with good results. A stone will always need time to reheat but this oven does a great job of allowing the crust some extra time to cook while letting you tone down the top heating element to compensate.
I’ve baked muffins in here as well and had great results. With convection I’ve noticed a really even heat distribution overall. What it lacks in height it makes up for in heat retention and even distribution of heat.
I also was able to roast coffee beans using the air fry basket. I got a nice even blonde roast on 1.5 pounds of yirgacheffe in under 25 minutes.
Good stuff!
This pizza oven has replaced my coffee roaster and my traditional toaster oven. It isn’t as good as a drawer style air fryer, honestly, but it does an admirable job (it’ll get your fries and taquitos crisp, it just will take a few minutes more than a drawer style unit).
The pizza stone is very nice and after cooking a half dozen pizzas has gotten a beautiful season on it.
All I want to do is cook pizzas now, this has been a great pick up.
Compared to my prior outdoor ovens that use propane or wood pellets, this is so much more convenient and I get amazing results. plus I get to cook in air conditioning!
I would pick this over an outdoor oven without hesitation.
