Sturdy and Attractive Fire Pit with Wide-ish "Tabletop" Rim I received the fire pit and convinced my partner to assemble it for me because I am not terribly good at that aspect of reviewing items. I was told it was not difficult to assemble and that indeed, the height of the legs is fairly easily adjustable. The frame itself feels pretty sturdy, and this item is definitely not a lightweight or thin or flimsy piece of outdoor furniture. The product page says it weighs 31lbs when assembled, and that feels about right. It’s not so heavy that it’s impossible to move, it’s just a larger size with the weight spread out, which makes it a bit difficult to move for a petite person like myself. I suspect that difficulty in moving the fire pit will serve as a major benefit outside, as its stability will hopefully help it hold up to our Midwestern thunderstorms and prevent it from trying to tip over or blow away.
The style and shape and build of this particular fire pit is unique in that it is designed to allow for use like a “counter” ot “table” on the sides of where the stove goes. I really liked that idea in theory, but in practice and with the item assembled and in front of me, there just isn’t a lot of wiggle room on the amount of space available on the actual pit. It’s slated as a “tabletop” fire pit, but it just doesn’t have a big enough surface area to realistically accommodate as much as the advertisement photos make it appear to. This is an observation more than a complaint, as if the top was wider – it would also be bigger and heavier. There is always a tradeoff when manufacturing decisions are made. That said, the tabletop aspect of this fire pit may disappoint some with it’s relatively puny surface, and it may appeal to some for the exact same reason if one does not wish to fuss about with setting items down on their fire pit.
Overall, this is a respectable option for a fire pit at a pretty good value. If you’re in the market for one and are looking for a fairly low weight but still hefty enough pit with an adjustable base and a small amount of room around the stove to function as a table, this may be an ideal fit for you. Is is definitely attractive looking and a pretty cool item, I wouldn’t dissuade others from ordering this fire pit if it appeals to you and you’re looking for the features it offers. : )
Safe Stylish and Perfect for Backyard Setups This fire pit surround gives a clean polished look to my outdoor area while providing a safer distance around the fire pit. The design is sturdy and the surface gives a great space for setting drinks or snacks while sitting around the fire. It was easy to set up and fits nicely around different types of pits. The material feels durable and weather resistant which is ideal for outdoor use. It instantly upgraded my backyard atmosphere and I love how functional it is.
Nice This is a quality made unit that functions as expected. It is a good size and is quality, all metal construction. It looks nice and is fire resistant. A good value for the money.
Fits Yukon brand as well To be honest with you, I got this table for my Yukon brand firepit because I didn’t have Bonfire brand and fits great. This an anti heat table which heat doesn’t effect at all. The frame is super sturdy and topper is very durable. Besides, assembly is very easy which takes up to 15 minutes. There were some scratches on the top side, but still worth the price and quality.
