Good quality cover to keep your tools clea
Because I do woodworking in my garage, my tools keep getting covered with fine dust. While this isn’t a big factor most of the time, having to clean off my welder, generator, and other power tools before use became a major chore. I ordered this cover to see if I could alleviate that problem.
The cover came wrapped in a small carry bag. This will be a great addition to hold some of the tools I use. I was very pleased with the quality and construction materials. None of the seams had hanging threads, there were no blemishes in the waterproofing membrane, and all the straps were stitched very cleanly. I wish the bottom drawstring would be a different material as the loose nylon threads keep hanging on metal pieces, but for what it does it’s not too big an issue.
Having the adjustable straps means that I can keep this fabric from being loose and hanging on items, especially my tool bench and bolts. I’m very pleased with the cover. I feel that fit and function are perfect for my application. I can also see a difference in the dust accumulation already and I’ve only been using it about a week. Very nice and worth the cost as far as I’m concerned.
Large cover that covers a good amount of things.
I realize that this is meant to be for a generator, but I got it to cover some things behind my RV. We had a storm yesterday and I checked the cardboard box underneath was perfectly dry. Definitely met my needs.
I recently inherited a sizable Lincoln Electric TIG welder that included all the accessories except a cover. Since the welder not lives in my pole barn, I needed a cover to keep it clean and dry. When Amazon Vine offered the Legendcover welder cover for review, I decided to give it a try.
The cover is well made and fits my TIG welder with a bit of room to spare. Overall, I’m impressed by its quality, and am sure it will provide the protection I’d hoped for. Its main shortcoming is that the material is thinner than I’d hoped. That shouldn’t be a serious issue for my needs but could be problematic in circumstances where the welder is out in the weather for long periods.
Overall, the Legendcover cover is a good quality product for protecting large welders.
Thick and with plenty of fastening options to secure to your welder. The pocket on the side is a nice bonus. Also the grommets are very well reinforced. Pull ties and Velcro fasteners are right where the need to be to secure the cover in place even in windy situations. The thickness exceeds my expectations and with the inside being lined will keep moisture from getting on your equipment. Very well thought out cover.
