I bought this Dutch oven mainly for bread baking, and it worked beautifully. It heated evenly and I ended up with a nice crust with soft bread inside. The lid fits so it trapped the steam during baking. This is perfect for anyone on a sour dough kick. The size is perfect – way better than trying to do bread in a pot that’s too big for a loaf.
The pot itself is heavy and solid. The enamel finish looks great and cleaned up easily after use. Overall, this feels like a durable dutch oven that is just as good as more expensive brands. I’m very happy with this purchase. Now I need to look for some recipes for soups, stews, and more bread baking!!!

Perfect size for us nice color and good condition I’m very happy with this pot is love it cook with them.I had 5 qt ,3.8 qt braised pit other 5qt for only baked bread and I was looking long time for this sized and good money.
Been shopping for a dutch oven for a while, to bake artisan bread and soups. This one had a coupon, so the price was very reasonable. Was concerned about the heft, as they seem heavy and people mention that a lot. This one, at 3.9 quarts, seemed big enough for bread and soups, and the weight was a little over 8 pounds, much less that a lot of others. Arrived in excellent packaging. Its not terribly heavy (for an old lady) yet seems very well made. Havent used it yet, but so far I am impressed. Very pretty. Edited to add: Fixed a pot of lentil soup. Really filled up to the brim, kept the heat extremely well, and clean up was a breeze.

Buy these. Just.Beautiful. Perfectly snug fitting lid. The metal handle gets hot so use a potholder or the cute hat it comes with. Glossy color. Decent weight not too heavy. Lovely job cooking evenly. Will get more.
