I got this for my workplace and have a similar blender at home. I use it mostly for smoothies, and it has worked well. Much better than my single smoothie maker, which does struggle with frozen berries.
This one does not.
My only complaint with this is that it can easily be overfilled, resulting in a mess. Yes, the instructions say to be careful filling it more than 2/3. Normally, I find those as conservative estimates. This was not a conservative estimate. I put slightly more than 2/3 into the container and proceeded to create an avoidable mess.
I say avoidable because it was warned not to do that. I honestly just haven’t had that problem before. It could be attributed to user error, and I may have been deceived by its size, thinking it could hold more than it did. It definitely held more than my single-serve smoothie maker.
Overall I’m happy with this, but wish I hadn’t made that mess.
A smoothie beas
I never leave reviews but I was compelled to for this blender. This is a great blender. My Blendtec died on me, and while I was tempted to stick with what I know, I took a chance on this one as the price couldn’t be beat. I like it better than the Blendtec. It’s faster at blending my smoothies and doesn’t leave any chunks of frozen fruit. Pre-programmed blending cycles are completely superfluous to be honest, and having anolog control is actually very convenient. We’ll see how long this one lasts, but so far I’m very happy with it.
Very powerful and nice but not stable on the base. You have to put your hand on top so that it doesn’t move on the base. Otherwise, it works well.
