This blanket is a heavensent gift. I run warm — and by warm, I mean I operate at the internal temperature of an overstuffed woodburning furnace that could take out my house, my neighbor’s house, and possibly the entire block. If you touch me while I’m sleeping and you’re even slightly warm, the demogorgon emerges and your hands are officially optional.
Then this blanket entered my life like a cooltothetouch guardian angel. The moment it hits your skin, you feel it — instant relief. When it eventually warms up, you just wiggle it a little and boom, it’s cold again. My husband hates this blanket because he says I cuddle it more than him. And listen he’s not wrong. Right now, this blanket is winning.
I’ve never experienced such immediate temperature salvation. I no longer need the window open in the dead of winter like some feral creature, nor do I require three fans pointed at me like I’m on a Beyonc tour. It’s lightweight — so if you want the heft of a weighted blanket, this isn’t your soulmate — but if you want the cooling equivalent of a gentle hug from Mr. Snow himself, this is it.
I’ve washed it about five times with zero issues. No snags, no fraying, no betrayal. It still cools my volcanic body like day one. I love this blanket almost as much as my husband. Almost.
