Sturdy but rough surface
Heat distribution appears to be good. The weight is what I would expect and the size is right for the application I bought it for. It’s heavy but not problematically so and easy to use. I like the backsplash and grease gutter. These make it versatile and easy to clean. I don’t see this ever warping given the bottom features.
My only complaint is that the griddle surface is too rough. I had to sand it down and re-season to make it smooth.
This is marketed primarily for use on a gas grill, but I do not need it for that purpose. I was shopping for both a stovetop griddle and a pizza/bread stone/steel. This one item serves both purposes beautifully. It is very heavy, and rather large, so storage may be an issue. It BARELY fits in my standard oven, so be sure to measure yours precisely. Our stovetop has five burners, including an elongated middle burner, and this monster covers three burners. If I did not bake large loaves of bread and pizzas, I would get the smaller version, but this one works great for my needs. I grill a lot, and I have never felt the need to put a griddle on top of my grill. We recently lost power for a few days, and we had to cook everything on the outdoor grill. It was no problem using our regular cast iron and stainless cookware directly on the grill. Also, this thing would completely cover most grills, leaving no room for grilling over the open flame while using the griddle for whatever. I think the seller is missing an opportunity by not marketing this for its multiple uses.
Used once so far. Didn’t warp after getting it really hot for cooking. Nice and heavy, so it doesn’t jump around the stove when I cooked with it indoors and chopped and turned lots of food on it. It just stays put.
Needs to be seasoned before first use. Factory seasoning prevents shipping rust, but is not great for cooking so I re-seasoned with Canola Oil.
Supplied spatulas and cutter work well AND help with cleaning the surface after use.
Great addition for the bbq enthusias
Fantastic! Adds to our bbq making it a grill top. Simply set it on top and then remove for regular grilling. Husband loves it! Cleaned up easily, no scrubbing required.

Exactement ce qu’ont cherchions, une plaque de fonte, qui se comporte comme de la fonte. L’enduit fait qu’elle est facile nettoyer a froid pour le moment a fait 4,5 fois qu’ont l’utilise et tout va bien. A l’usage ont verra si l’enduit survivras, mais la fonte a dure toujours.
This griddle is excellent, the large are makes cooking for more people easy. Also, you can adjust the heat side to side if your grill has zoned burners, thus you can cook and move to the side to keep hot. Tacos, breakfast, cheesesteaks are a very easy. It is heavy so searing and crusting is excellent with little temp loss; cleaning is the only issue as it is heavy; fat gets burned on so scrubbing is needed.
Great value for your money. Easy to use and clean. Perfect weight for carbon steel compared to cast iron. Size is actually what I wanted. Would be great if they make a single burner too.
