The quality of this pot is surprising! Beautiful stainless steel, easy to clean, nice and sturdy. Conducts heat very well on an electric stove top. Does well in the oven too. Highly recommend
Solid stock pot with good glass lid.
This pot ships in a well designed box to protect the pot.
This is a very solidly built pot. It weighs 1741 g, and 2298 g with the lid. Some people may not like the fact that it’s so heavy when it’s empty. The ceramic coating has little reflective bits in it.
The lid is a flat glass lid, so it’s not domed. The water tends to build up on the glass lid and you need to lift the lid to clear off the water droplets in order to see through it. The edge of the lid is surrounded by a silicone gasket as is the vent hole. I like this because you don’t make a lot of noise when putting the lid back onto the pot.
As all of the handles are all metal, the use of potholders is going to be highly recommended.
The interior of the pot is completely smooth, so no rivets showing at all.
I like that the side of the pot is graduated, so you know how much liquid is in there, in both quarts and litres. It is only graduated on one side though, so pay attention to which side you have facing you if you need it.
There isn’t a base plate at the bottom of the pot which sticks out, the bottom is nice and smooth with the ceramic finish.
There are a few caveats with this pot, which are mentioned in the user manual, but I’ll highlight them here:
– The pot should not be filled beyond 80% capacity to prevent overboiling.
– Always allow the pot to cool fully before washing to prevent thermal shock as it can cause warping of the pot.
– For the same reason as above, you should also thaw frozen foods to room temperature before cooking.
– Add salt after water has come to full boil to prevent pockmarking. This is pretty standard for all stainless steel pots.
– Always preheat the pot from low to medium instead of using high heat from the beginning.
– Do not heat the pot when empty.
– Always dry the pot before storing to prevent corrosion.
– Oven safe to 220C/ 428F, not including glass lid.
– Although the pot is dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended for longevity of the pot.
– Do not use steel wool or abrasive sponges to clean the pot.
I’ve uploaded pictures of the complete user manual for your perusal.
I used this to make a winter melon soup with miso and it turned out fine. My winter melon was frozen, so I brought the water up to boil first before adding in the winter melon. No warpage yet. Given the warnings, I’m not tempted to push it. I did raise the temperature gradually though, from medium low to medium to high to bring the water to a boil though. Something I never do with my regular stainless steel pots. I also used potholders as the lid and the side handles all got very warm.
Right size
I love my stock pot so easy to clean. It’s a nice size and not too heavy and not too light just right. Made chile with no sticking on the bottom. Thanks
Beautiful pot that looks and cleans up well
My current pot set only came with one large pot, so this 6 quart pot will come in very handy for those times that I wish I had a second large pot.
The pot is really beautiful. It is fairly heavy, weighing 3.25 lbs. It’s thick stainless steel with a matt interior and is marked with litre and quart amounts which is a really nice feature. The exterior is a cream coloured ceramic coating, and when held under direct light it has a little bit of a sparkle. The handles are a gold-coloured metal, with rounded inside edges so I didn’t find them uncomfortable to hold on to.
The lid is glass with silicone edging, and I found that the water boiled a little faster than when in my regular steel pot with steel lid. The lid weighs 1.25 lb, so the total weight of the pot and lid is 5 lbs.
In the couple times I have used it so far, the pot cleaned up really well. The interior was easy to clean and still looks brand new. I have a gas range, and the grates didn’t cause any scratches on the bottom of the pot.
I should point out that the handles on the pot and lid get extremely hot, so be sure to use heat protection when holding.
[This review is for: BEZIA 6 Quart Tri-Ply Stainless Steel StockpotStock Pot with Visible Lid, Even Heat Distribution, Induction Cooking Pot for All Stoves, Sturdy & Double HandleIdeal for Soups & Stews – $69.04]
Sturdy, even-heating pot perfect for soups and stews
I recently started using the BEZIA 6-quart stockpot, and it has quickly become my go-to for soups, stews, and large-batch cooking. The tri-ply stainless steel construction ensures even heat distribution, so nothing sticks or burns, even when simmering for a long time. The pot feels very sturdy, and the double handles make it easy to lift and pour, even when full.
I also really appreciate the clear, visible lid — it’s convenient to check on cooking progress without losing heat or steam. It works on all types of stoves, including induction, and the sleek design looks great on the stovetop. Overall, this stockpot is durable, practical, and ideal for anyone who loves making large, hearty meals.
My all one everyday pot - can be used stovetop or inside oven for baking
I absolutely love this pot. It’s probably one of the most high quality and well constructed pots I have ever used. It’s made out of a high quality stainless steel inner material with a beautiful outer ceramic coating. The heat evenly cooks your food resulting in an even cook throughout without ever burning your food or getting ‘hot’ spots in certain places. When I need to cook something, this is my go to pot because of how versatile it is. I use it for frying steak, vegetables, making soup, chilli, steaming vegetables, etc. There’s nothing I haven’t been able to cook with this pot.
What I love most is is that every component is safe for use both on your stove top as well as in your oven. The lid is made out of an oven safe glass and stainless steel handle so it’s safe to use inside the oven for baking. You can even use love it for making baked pastas and casseroles or for broiling your food for that perfect crispy top. I love that it still looks brand new even when used at high temperatures or inside the oven. The beautiful cream coloured ceramic coating still looks pristine and has not lost it’s colour, even underneath the pot. It’s smooth surface is very easy to clean and I love that I never have to scrub it because my food never sticks and the bottom of the outside of the pot still looks brand new and hasn’t turned black or brown from use on my stovetop and inside the oven. It’s definitely the most luxurious and aesthetic pot I have ever had. I’m so happy to have it and always reach for this one over my other pots and pans!
This pot is so pretty you might want to just admire it and cook in something else, lol. It’s heavy duty and totally flat bottomed so it will be great for flat cooktops.
