Awesome. My basement is set up like a pub/pool hall with darts and pool table and arcade games.
I have this is the corner near the pool table and it’s great for putting 2-3 drinks on. The lip makes sure nothing slips off the edge if you bump it on your trick shots
Great table
If you’re looking for a small table this is the one. I love that the height is adjustable and it’s very sturdy. It’s large enough to place a drink, few remotes and my phone. I’ve received several compliments on this table.
A handy little side table
This is a nice little side table, big enough for a beverage and snacks, or maybe your phone/tablet, etc. It’s not a TV tray or suitable for eating a full meal off of, what with the table’s top being just about the size of a dinner plate. And it does have a raised edge, to contain small spills and just look a little more finished.
It’s very easy to assemble, even if you ignore the instructions. Four screws in the base, four screws in the top, the two stand tubes fit one into the other, and there are two thumb screws for setting the stand height.
Two nice, if small, things stand out to me. The screws attach into threaded metal inside the base, so you’re not going to chip and strip the MDF when you screw them in (hex key included, and one spare screw is provided). And there are not one, but two thumb screws in the stand metal, for much better stability/grip when you set the table’s height. It’s not put off-kilter like some one-screw stands, and two “grabs” are better than one, right?
The table’s height can be set to heights between roughly 17.5″ and 30″. Obviously, it gets a bit more precarious the taller you set it, since it doesn’t have a huge footprint. If you decide to use this as, say, a plant stand, or put your Faberge Egg collection on it, I’d stick with a lower height.
The color is a richer brown than the photos look like, which I consider a good thing. It’s unobtrusively attractive, functional, and can be easily tucked beside the sofa. If you’re just looking for a little spot to put things, you could do a lot worse!
looks great but its a little wobbly on my hard floors
The assembly is SUPER easy, and it looks fantastic. I am so excited to finally have a bedside table again! Love that it’s smaller to that I can’t accumulate too much stuff on it. The overall quality of the materials is great, the wood is good quality and looks very nice, arrived with no scratches, and the center pole is solid and easily adjustable. My only issue was that no matter how many times i tried adjusting the bolts and felt pads on the bottom to make sure everything was even, it had a wobble from the base on my hard floors. this is probably JUST from the felt, judging by the movement. If you want it on hard floors, you may want to risk some scratches by leaving the felt pads off. On carpet (next to my bed) I had zero issues with stability.
