So our “pond” which we affectionately refer to as our “puddle” has been a collection of algae and murky water. We were initially wanting to depend on solar water spillways-which work amazingly” but just not enough to make the water clear enough to see the fish.
So we broke down and decided to buy this pond filter. What a game changer!!! The water is crystal clear-crystal. The fountain and light are just the icing on the cake. No more algae either. I highly recommend this filter-it is worth every dollar. It has reduced the need for all the animal friendly “chemicals” as well. We did not have any trouble putting it together and we haven’t had any trouble cleaning it either. It’s so beautiful to see during the day and night.
A good filter and just beautiful at night, I told my wife I found a good one and she was impressed.
The fish are happy and hard at work trying to produce a mermaid.
Edit**… After 4 days water is clearing up! So other than assembly this is working great.
Some of the parts were mis threaded so it was extremely hard to get it screwed on… Once Under the water the fountain wouldn’t stay on. It took alot of creative engineering to get it to stay. . The fountain is beautiful. It hasn’t been in long enough to see if it’s helping my water. I may be back to edit my review. 4. Stars for assembly.
This is the best pond filter I ever bought. The light on the fountain is beautiful at night.. the UV light keeps the pond crystal clear. I’ve had my pond for 20 years. I would recommend this pond filter absolutely
