I really like how it replaces several appliances — the air fryer, slow cooker, rice cooker, and even a small wok — so I don’t have to keep switching between different devices. The controls are intuitive, and it heats up quickly. The air-fry mode gives a nice crispy finish with noticeably less oil, and the slow-cook and steam functions also work well for everyday meals.
The 4.5-quart pot is a great size for family cooking. I also appreciate that it’s oven-safe up to 500F, which lets me crisp or bake directly in the same pan and then bring it to the table. It comes with multiple plates and a stainless-steel lid, making it easy to switch between frying, steaming, grilling, and stewing.
If I had to point out one small downside, it’s that the non-stick surface should be handled carefully with silicone or wooden utensils to keep it in good shape, but that’s true for most cookers like this. Overall, this unit delivers solid performance, saves counter space, and makes cooking much simpler.
Easy to use
I was looking for a nice rice cooker, and got much more with this. Used for the first time today, made perfect brown rice with cream of chicken soup chicken. I can’t recall when my rice turned out better. I’m not stuck with just 1 color. I like the glass lid, so I can see how the food is progressing without opening it. I’m trying to get away from the white breads, pasta, rice…those things actually stimulate the appetite so I get hungry again faster. I’m not going back to white. But there is a Facebook group for this product that suggested work-arounds that I will try. Even so, this is definitely a keeper.
