I cannot say enough good things about this filter. We have extremely hard well water with lots of minerals and iron. As you can see it gets rid of everything you don’t want in your water. We actually had our water tested after using this filter (by the professional water tester, Springwell) and have proven it’s effectiveness. It tastes like fresh Glacier water from Glacier National Park. You can see the difference in our water quality using this filter. The flow is slow but that’s because it’s working so well. It’s super easy to use and the instructions on the box are very clear on how to prep the filter prior to use. The only thing I’d say is the gasket is a bit undersided initially, so when the prep happens there is leakage, but once it goes into the pitcher the gasket is fine. Highly recommended and the price-point is on par with other filters we’ve used for this pitcher.
