Well Built Quality Machine
Very nice blender. Found a super low price on this 5-piece and returned the unopened 3-piece that was actually more expensive. We love using this primarily for sauces. Powerful and easy to clean after use.
Quality machine
Def an improvement over my Sharper Image immersion blender, which was great for 13 years. This is a little heavier and more feature rich, and one handed adjusting is no problem.
I like Vitamix products and decided to go with this immersion blender after my Kitchenaide one died after several years. I like that is it fast, and blends well. I use it for mostly simple stuff like, blending tomatoes, cottage cheese, batter etc. and it does its job well. It is sharp, easy to clean and one just needs to be careful. It is not heavy and I like that you can take the blade part out and set it on counter. I just wish the speed setting stayed put once set instead of setting it every time it is either not used in several minutes or disconnected. Appearance, for me, is not a big deal as it is a blender and not a beauty product but it looks fine if you’re that particular about it. I like the capacity of the blade jar as you can take the blade out to use the container. I do not like contoured look of the tall jar – it is hard to clean if one has big hands and get stuff in and out of it because of the shape. It is a good value for the money as you get multiple stuff for 1 price. I have not used the whisk yet though.
The hand blender itself is really great quality. The only annoying thing is the plastic splash guard by the blade. It would have been better if it was stainless steel like the rest of the product. This has made baby puree prep much easie
I Love Vitamix products made in USA! This is no exception it is not cheaply built, it’s has a strong motor and feels great in your hand. I made my first blue berry ice protein smoothy in the blender jar. I tired all the speeds, #5 is very powerful it sucked the blender attachment to the bottom of the blender jar (picture shows finished drink) love the speed options. Even # 3 chopped up my ice cubes. All ingredients were mixed perfectly and fast. I can’t wait to use the mini chopper attachment. Love that it comes with a storage bag. I have a Vitamix 5200 Super blender going on 18 years it’s one of my favorite appliance in my kitchen so I knew this would be another great appliance in my kitchen. Highly recommend this Immersion 5 speed blender 100% and the attachments.
I have only used 2x since receiving it. It’s really the same excellent product as is my ascent blender and food processor.
I like that the mini food processor/ chopper real suction gasket at the bottom to keep it in one spot because it’s a powerful device. The mini food processor is larger than the previous brand ( it moved if I didn’t hang on to it.
I also love that it has a jar with a lid very practical and functional.
I purchased this because the price was right with all included items. And I like that i can store 3 of the components in the case to keep them from falling or moving in a cupboard. Easy to clean so far.
It is expensive compared to other brands however my experience with other Vitamix items has been positive and I find, the different components included sold us.
