Excellent. lTeh install was easy because the installation instructions were well explained. I am very happy with how it works. Also, the remote makes it so easy to change colors. This was an excellent choice to replace my Pentair Globrite.
I love lights in my swimming pool and this is one of the latest additions. Thanks to the compact form factor it’s a perfect light for shallow water installations. I used it near the steps of my pool. It is a direct replacement for the Pentair lights I use and it fit perfectly into the standard 1.5″ fitting. Once you have it installed you can operate it manually or with the remote control. You have a good selection of colors–7 static colors, 7 dynamic ‘light shows’ and 10 different brightness levels. The 50′ cord isn’t incredibly long but it is long enough for my needs. Really excellent light for my use case at a reasonable price point. Recommended!
This is a 12VAC pool light that is compatible with Pentair Globrite MicroBrite.
It fits a standard 1.5″ niche.It is solidly built, and is weighty too. It is designed for submersion.
What I love about it:
1. Easy to install
2. Bright light
3. Remote control can be used to control color, brightness and light shows
4. Makes the pool look cool!
A great value since it is cheaper than the Pentair but you do need to fiddle with it a bit to get a good fit and you do need the remote to controle it.

Im giving it high marks because it is so much less expensive than the pentair replacement. When holding this light along side the pentair light you wonder if it is going to fit the niche because the pentair light does not have the same thread placement. However it fits just fine. I held back a star because the color programming on the pentair controller does not match the system on the new light. However the technology appears to be the same. If they could get the programming to mach so that an external controller is not necessary I would give it 5 stars. Now just waiting for a replacement “bubbler” in the 200 dollar range 🙂

My husband installed this LED pool light without any issues, so that’s already a win in my book lol. But the real magic starts when the sun goes down. The color effects are vibrant and surprisingly fun to mess around with, whether we’re just relaxing or low-key trying to throw a backyard rave.
I love how it totally changes the vibe of the pool area. It doesn’t just light things up, it changes the whole vibe. Great mood lighting for a soak or a swim, and it’s compact enough to fit into shallow areas like the steps without looking clunky. The remote is tiny but gets the job done, and the long cord gave us more placement flexibility than we expected.
Definitely worth it if you want your pool to go from “nice” to yes, we live here full-time now lol. Recommend!
These little lights are exactly what we needed to add some ambiance to our pool’s baja shelf. We previously had standard-sized lights that were just too big and bulky for the shallow water. The SURAIELEC 1.5 inch lights are a perfect fit, and being able to install them directly into the existing Pentair fittings was a breeze.
The color options are great! My kids love cycling through the different light shows, and I enjoy setting it to a calm blue for relaxing evenings. The remote works well, although you do need to be relatively close to the light for it to register. I like that you can also control the light manually if needed. The brightness is just right for accent lighting; it’s not overpowering but provides a nice glow. If you’re looking to illuminate shallow areas of your pool, I highly recommend giving these lights a try. They’re energy-efficient and offer a wide range of color options.
