I got these Hicotet solar fence lights to use on the edge of my deck’s stairs, for better visibility at night. After using these lights for a few weeks now, they haven’t disappointed. From the day I received them, I put them in the sun to charge and they’ve lasted every night throughout the night, without fail. They even have some battery power left once dawn arrives. These lights have multiple settings, from choosing different colours or white temperatures, to having the lights change colours via fade or flash. There’s even a remote control that allows you to switch whites or colours, switch to fade or flash, and the ability to turn all the lights on or off. Although these lights are small, they give off a fair amount of light, easily lighting up the area around each of my steps. The build quality is good and the solar panels seem well protected with an IP67 waterproof rating, so they’ll hopefully last many years without deteriorating, like other solar lights that I’ve had in the past. Although I prefer to normally have these lights on the blue colour setting, it’s nice having the ability to change up the colours, or to put on the colour flash mode while listening to music outside. With their L-shaped mold, these lights can be hung in a variety of places, from steps to fences, allowing for good downward lighting, while having the solar panel aimed at the sky. From a distance, my stairs have a cool, visible look at night and during the day, the lights are small enough to not be intrusive. If you need to light up your stairs, I recommend using these solar lights.
Solar fence lights for posts
These solar fence lights work great. They were easy to install. The colors are beautiful..very bright They can be all white or colors.. either changing colors or keeping them one color. You just turn to take top off, slide the button to setting you want and twist top back in place. I used green and red for Christmas time and multi colors other times.
I'd say they're pretty good, but it's important to know what to expec
Overall, I’d say these are pretty decent for what they are. They’re definitely not very expensive and they’re about on par with other options. I’ve tried. I personally use these for my fence line in my yard to provide some nice ambient lighting across our yard at night. These have work well for a couple months and last at least halfway through the night on a full day’s charge. The addition of the remote and the multicolor is a nice feature, although I keep them yellow must the time. They do function well and I haven’t had any fail yet, but with that being said, I’ve used a lot of similar sets and they do usually start to break down after about a year or two, especially if they stay outside during winter another seasons. I wouldn’t say these are any worse than others, but I wouldn’t expect them to last years and years into the future without being replaced.
Lots of colour options with these solar lights
These look great in our yard! All the colours are so pretty and they create a relaxing atmosphere. We put them in different spots around our garden and set them on the mode that slowly cycles through the 12 colours by each one fading into the next. The lights can also be set to have each one remain on one specific colour by using the push button on the light itself. The remote control works all of the lights at once from a distance, so it’s easy to switch to standard white lighting, but with the ability to choose the temperature of white that’s preferred: warm, neutral or cool. These will come on at dusk and shut off at dawn, but can also be turned on/off using the remote, which is good if there’s a few rainy days and nights – I want to preserve the power in the lights for when we’re outside again. I recommend if you like solar lights with a variety of colours and options!

The solar fence lights are nice and offer a lot of options for different colours and moods. The remote control is handy, and the lights seem bright enough to make a fence or steps look good in the evening.
So far, they work well, but I’m not sure how they’ll hold up over the winter. They’re easy to install and add a fun touch to outdoor spaces.
