Unlocking Hose Reel & How to Retract
Give the hose a short sharp pull(approximate 2-4 in) and you will feel the hose automatically retract. You can interrupt this process by pulling the hose again.
Dealing with Tangles Inside The Reel
Extend the hose to its full length and then permit it to retract smoothly as you walk it back to the hose reel housing . This will allow the self-layering mechanism to layer the hose correctly into the reel.
Solutions for Leaks at The Interface
Supplied with two seals which can be replaced and a Teflon tape that can be wrapped at the interface to preventing leakage.

This retractable water hose has been one of my favorite purchases of the year. It makes watering plants quick and easy, and when you’re done it retracts cleanly, keeping the backyard neat and clutter-free. It also helps keep me dry compared to dragging a traditional hose around.
The included sprayer feels a bit cheap, so I ended up upgrading that part, which improved the overall experience. After about two years of use, I’ve noticed some fading on the housing, but it hasn’t affected performance.
Overall, the hose system itself works well and has been very convenient. As long as you don’t expect premium accessories out of the box, it’s a solid and practical setup.

his works well I didn’t mount it but I use it only when I wash the car. I feel it would be to heavy for my stucco and would end up pull the stucco off the house but that is my house problem not a product problem

One of the best products I’ve bought from Amazon. I love how the hose container can pivot from left to right and how the hose is retractable. It took a few tries to work the kinks out but it rolls back with a tug now. Excellent quality, about to buy one for my back yard.

This is my second Glahoden (who thinks if these names in China?) and am very satisfied. No leaks. Quality reel retracts very nicely. My first one is 3 years old and still works great. Hose pressure is good and for the price it’s an excellent value. The unit easily swings left or right as needed.
