This garden bed cover is perfect for what we need to cover our 8×4 beds. We have a couple of groundhogs that like to eat our buffet as well as deer. We tried something cheap last year but they blew away with the wind and the rabbits chewed through it. This netting is thicker and goes over the bed perfectly to the ground leaving no hollows for the animals to get in. The zipper is nice quality to open and get to the produce and the extra tie downs help keep it secured to the ground. It looks nice and I love that we can fold it up and store it in a bag. I will be ordering a couple more.
I have above ground gardens AND squirrels everywhere.
I love animals and squirrels are fun to watch, so I don’t want any cruel traps, poisons, etc.
. But I also don’t want them ravaging my produce (which they definitely do).
So I thought I’d give this a try. It’s exactly the rights size for my 8′ x 4′ raised bed. It’s super easy to set up. If you’ve ever set up a small tent, it’ll be a breeze since it is done the same way.
The design and materials seem decent.
So far so good and no squirrels, birds, or bugs are damaging my garden.
I love this plant cover. It’s protected everything I put under it. There are so many bunnies and rats eating up every plant I move outside. They found their way in a couple times but we just added more rocks to secure the edges better. So far, nothing has been able to get in there. I wasn’t sure if the cover would affect pollination since the holes in the material are small. I’ve got some peppers outside of the cover also and they have about the same amount of peppers. I love the height of this cover. It’s perfect for peppers and smaller tomato plants. I probably won’t put any vining plants under it because they take up too much space. I’ve probably crammed it a little too full but it’s fine. They are a little more expensive than the other covers that are similar size. But it is one of the taller ones. I don’t really plant anything in the ground. So using pots takes up a lot of the height. If you put your plants in the ground, you might be able to plant some of the taller tomato varieties. We don’t get much crazy weather here but there’s been a couple storms and the plants were fine. Nothing was out of place or knocked over. I would love to find one like this, but taller. For some of my trees.

This thing is great. Easy to set up. Easy to access plants to water or harvest.
Wind can fold it over a bit but so far easy to push back in place.
The steaks that came with were short enough that I did not think they would hold it in place in high winds. So I used longer steaks.
