Best Purchase for my Pit Boss! I have to say, this is a great product. After battling 60-70 degree differences from the left to the right side of my pit boss 820, I researched and bought all the necessary upgrades that would “help” this situation. First I cleaned the temp probe and this didn’t help. I bought a flame tamer, hoping this would divert the heat more evenly since the flame barrel was in the middle of the smoker. The flame tamer assisted with this but the temp differences was still the same. Then I installed a half moon heat deflector to install at the top plate and nothing changed. I settled down and made this purchase and was astonished to see such a noticeable difference. Upon the first fire up, with all the parts installed, the temp swings went from 60-70 degrees side to side down to 20 degrees! With more usage it finally stabilized. I am super happy with this purchase and I definitely recommend it.
These replacement Broiler Plates fit great in my Pit Boss 1000T4. I bought this to replace the bottom and sliding broiler plates on my Pit Boss 1000T4. Both plates are thicker gauge metal than my originals. They fit great. The top plate sliding pins were firmly welded in place and they slide in the bottom plate without any resistance. I’m very pleased.
Worked perfectly fit my grill perfectly. make sure you check your model number but this is a nice replacement part for model #PB1100SPW. I really think this is higher quality than the original that came with it…
Great upgrade for Pitboss Austin XL GREAT UPGRADE to my Austin XL 1000. The two pins on the broiler slide bottom plate came, and they were both broken off. Not a big deal to me. They fit was perfect, and the material used is top notch. Its heavier than what came from PitBoss, but I think that’s because they obviously used better materials. Install was quick, and fit like a glove.
Get this! Awesome replacement when the original parts are disintegrating after about 4.5yrs of use. The quality appears to be great, it works as expected no surprises, and it looks really nice. These parts were a great needed replacement & upgrade for the price!
