The 1500W Electric Patio Heater has been fantastic. We installed it last fall and left it outside under our gazebo with only indirect exposure to the elements, and it still works perfectly. The infrared heat is strong, consistent, and great for chilly evenings. Durable, reliable, and well worth it.
We got this for the upcoming freeze for our plants that we keep in pots. I put them under our under a patio cover & some under a table & covered them with that plant fabric. Hung the heater over the area & because we have been lucky and are not getting a hard freeze I turn it on between 9 & 10pm & off in the morning. It’s not Hot hot – but it allows for enough heat that the plants seem to be doing ok. Leaving them covered for this next weekend because we expect more cold. We have only been getting into the high 20’s so we will see what temps we get and how it does. I’m happy with it.
I have this in my garage and works for the area it’s over to a degree. I have a two car garage. So keep in mind it will not heat a huge area. But is fine for what I need it for now. I will invest in a heater to keep the whole garage done the line.

I bought this to hang under my gazebo, trying to create a warm zone to disrobe and leave the towels and such underneath it. I live in Saskatchewan, -38 in winter, what was i thinking? I tired it out and laughed at what a foolish notion that was. I will use it in the fall though for sure, to extend patio time in the exening.
I purchased this heater to hang on my screened in porch over my outdoor sofa to extend the time of year that we could enjoy our porch a little later in the season, specifically in the evenings. So long as you’re sitting beneath it, it puts out a significant amount of heat.
It does come with a chain, which makes it easy to hang from a rafter. The functionality could be a little better if it had a remote or something other than a pull string. However, it does work well as it is. Quality seems to be on par for the price. It’s hard to know what the lifespan of it will be, but so far I’ve used it multiple times and it keeps me snuggly on cool evenings on my porch.
