Good mattress vacuum
The thought of putting my regular vacuum on my bed to “clean it” after it has been on the floor picking up filth just grosses me out. This little vacuum is perfect. It’s powerful, yet lite weight and most importantly it’s clean. I don’t use it on anything other than my mattress.
Terrible. Although it did pickup dust particles it did not pick up cat hair even after multiple passes over the same area. The rollers stop working if there is any pressure at all, requiring one to actually hold the vacuum above the surface being cleaned. Any contact with the sheet or mattress stops the rollers and means you have to turn the vacuum off and then on again, IF you can see that they’ve stopped. The rollers are all black and the plastic covering is tinted so it’s difficult to see. I had to hold my phone with the light on over the vacuum all the while holding the vacuum off the surface. A great lower arm workout but all in all I’d rather have a A $7 hand roller. UPDATE
Ok, the fact that this vacuum can be stopped by a wrinkle in a sheet is a pain- but I attached small silver stickers to the front roller so I can see when it stops and just developed a light touch and I now love this vacuum. It picks up SO MUCH stuff I can’t even see. Now I routinely use it on all the beds, furniture, and the carpets when I don’t feel like hauling out the big (and honestly, not as good)’vacuum.
I was surprised by what it picked up.
I’ve been curious about these for a while and finally chose this one. I have a mattress that is less than a year old. It is always covered with a mattress cover. First I took off the mattress cover and vacuumed the mattress itself. It didn’t pick up a ton, which didn’t surprise me because the mattress is pretty new but I was surprised at what it did pick up. There was quite a bit of dust. Next I vacuumed my mattress pad as it was washed last time I had changed my sheets. I was totally surprised by the additional dust and cat fur it picked up. Now the picture shows after I vacuumed both the mattress and the mattress pad. The dust collector isn’t full by any means, some of the dust settled on the sides but still. EEWWWW!! Now I find myself using this quite often. Even on my sheets in between changes as it is easy to use and easy to empty the dust collector.
Cleanse very well
OMG!!!! i bought this because i saw some cleaning videos. i was also having the issue of my toddler tracking sand onto my bed and ugh if it wasn’t like the princess and the pea. so when i got this bed vacuum i fell in love i use it everyday and i can sleep comfortably knowing that it sucks up any crumbs, sand and dust off my mattress.
I got this a while ago and did not have the chance to write a review. After a few uses, I am confident to say that this vacuum is very easy to use, cleans the dusts and mites very well, and it is not too heavy to the hands. The portability is great because it’s not a whole big vacuum like the stand up kind, and you can see the UV light cleaning the surface while you use it. When I first used this, that evening felt especially comfortable. I do think it’s made with quality because it hasn’t broken down yet and is quite sturdy.
