Product Description

I love everything about this fan that’s why it’s getting five stars. You can charge it so you can move it in any room that you decide to hang out in. Be aromatherapy is nice. I also love the night light on the bottom of the fan. It’s easy to adjust. Takes up very little space. It’s a must-have. For its tininess. It sure has a lot of force. Basically it has the same torque as a full size fan, but it’s micro sized. Definitely a perfect gift for college student’s, coworkers birthday gifts.
This Magnetic Aromatherapy Desk Fan by FIVEJI is such a pleasure, bringing calm to any personal space.
This compact desk fan is quiet (27dB!), swings 120, and its battery lasts 10 hours. I love the magnetic base, which is super handy for attaching it anywhere, and the night light is a nice touch. The battery powers through 10 hours on low, 6 hours on medium, and 4 hours on turbo. The 3600mAh battery charges fast via USB-C — it works hard and chills harder. Perfect for my cozy meditation nooks or bedroom. I would recommend it.
I got this minii fan for my wife to use at her desk at home, where she does some work and painting when shes feeling creative. I thought it would be a nice little addition so she wouldn’t have to turn on a big fan just to stay cool.
Once it arrived, I was surprised. It has a nice weight to it not heavy, but not too light just enough to feel sturdy and well made. The quality of the materials is excellent, and it has a sleek, attractive look. It charges via USBC, making it super easy and quick to charge. You can keep it plug in to run continuously, so it’s always fully charged, or use it wirelessly thanks to its built in battery. The battery life is impressive I’ve used it for a couple of hours without draining it, so it clearly lasts much longer.
For its size, the airflow is surprisingly strong. You might expect a small fan to be weak, but this one isn’t. It has a smooth turn knob for adjusting the speed from very low to very high, which I prefer over push buttons it just feels nicer and more precise. The fan head tilts up and down for targeted airflow, and there’s also an oscillation feature that moves it side to side to circulate air more evenly.
Another neat touch is the built in LED light at the base. It’s not overly bright but gives off a nice glow, making it useful as a subtle night light or simply a stylish decorative accent.
Thiss is a fantastic mini fan compact yet powerful, with thoughtful features, great build quality, and excellent performance. My wife loves it, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, stylish, and versatile desk fan.
Attention – the only magnetic part of this fan is the aromatherapy attachment – NOT the base. I guess I misread the details and assumed it was a fan I could mount magnetically (like to the overhead bin in a cubicle), but that is not the case.
The instructions are typical of cheaper Chinese products – simple and a bit hard to understand. Although it’s a simple fan and doesn’t need much in the way of instructions anyway, the charging and aromatherapy steps could be more detailed.
I charged the fan for about 2 hours and the indicator lights showed fully charged (per the instructions), but the fan would only work when connected to power. After charging overnight, the fan finally started working on battery power alone. I set it to the lowest speed setting and engaged the rotation and only got 80 minutes of run time. While charging a second time I kept watch on the indicator lights. For about 5 minutes it blinked at the 25% mark. Another 5 minutes at the 50% mark, and again around 5 minutes at 75%. It took longer, around 20 minutes to move on to the 4th stage, and about 30 minutes until steady indicator light showing unit was fully charged. I pulled the plug and tried to turn on the fan, but again it would not work at the lowest speed setting. So I left it plugged in again overnight. The next morning the fan was set to lowest speed setting with no rotation/no light and runtime totaled about 6.5 hours. However, the Amazon posting details specified 10 hours at this setting, so still a little short on the battery life.
The aromatherapy option is the only magnetic part on the fan. The product comes with one aroma pod (labeled “gift”) that smells like perfume (which I didn’t find therapeutic at all), but no details on how/where to acquire replacements. Again, I made the wrong assumption that I would be able to add my own essential oils to make my own aromatherapy. This isn’t possible as any liquid would simply drain and run out the front of the nose cone due to its vertical orientation. It requires a dry aromatherapy pod or something similar that will fit inside the nose cone.
So overall, this fan might get 5 stars if it were a $15 price tag. But for $60 I really expected much more.
