This has to be 1 of the best coffee makers I have come across! It’s quick, fairly quiet, super easy to use. The water tank is a great size, nice and large so I don’t have to constantly refill it. The fact I can choose between a regular strength cup and a stronger one is nice. It fits easily under the upper cabinet on the coffee pod holder. It’s not heavy. You can use it to make a cup with a pod, with ground and even iced coffee, very versatile. I like the black color, very stylish. Definitely worth the price, and affordable.
I love my coffee maker. It’s the perfect size. I bought a new cupboard with a butcher block top and I put my coffee maker on it and I have it on the pod drawer. I put my air fryer oven on it and I have a little coffee bar. I like that it has a water reservoir that I can fill and not have to fill it everytime I want a cup of coffee. It’s really quick. I mean fast. I like that because who likes to wait for a cup of coffee. If you want a coffee maker and you don’t have a lot of room order this. Not only that it makes a good cup of coffee. I have yet to have a bitter cup. I use spring water in my reservoir. I don’t like tap water. Where I live it tastes gross. It’s also really easy to clean. If you don’t want to use a pod and you want to use ground coffee it has its own little pod and there is a setting to switch it over from the pod to ground. If you prefer a bolder taste there is a button for that. If you want ice coffee you can also do that.
So all in all. It’s the right size. I’m sure it will last. Has a couple different settings that you can use. You have a water reservoir. Has a pod for ground coffee. It’s easy to use. It looks nice and I have a feeling it’s going to last me a long time. I like it better than the 3rd Keurig we’ve bought and it doesn’t last long. We’ve had 3 in the last 4 years. It’s ridiculous. I keep trying to tell my husband to get rid of the Keurig and buy one like mine. He would be so much happier knowing it works.
I’ve had several Keurig Coffee Makers over the years, but I was always searching for stronger coffee. I also always wished that the coffee was hotter. Neither of those things happened. So, I recently – maybe six weeks ago – bought a new Keurig, hoping that they’d finally perfected it. It lasted about four weeks and burned up. ZAPPED.
So, I tried actually brewing – in a perculator – coffee for a few days, but I’ve forgotten how, and the process was a pain in the extremities.
So, yes, I would get a new coffee maker, but it would NOT be a Keurig. And I wandered around on Amazon, and found the TWOMEOW Coffee Maker.
However, it’s not just a K Cup machine; It makes k cups, ground, and Iced coffee. It has a “Standard” and a “Stronger”option. It has a descaler that uses bicarb so you don’t have to buy a jug of mystery chemical juice to clean your coffee maker. It has a 52 ounce reservoir. AND – the clincher – It drips … slowly. Not too slow, it adds about 15 seconds to the process, not like it’s being blasted through a fire hose. You don’t need the “Stronger” button. And it’s just a little, but difference making, hotter. Yes, it’s attractive, but could probably do well with a few more color options.
About that slow drip: the coffee is great. It tastes like yesteryear. It makes you want to sit and savor instead of gritting your teeth and gulping. And it’s name really is TWO MEOW. Cool.
This is a great coffee maker!,,,I gave a 5 star rating because of the customer service. the water chamber had a tiny pin hole on the side to where the water was leaking outbut we love the coffee maker. TWOMEOW customer service was excellent & sent a new coffee maker the next day after notifying! was just a freak thing, but they corrected it immediatelyThank you!
Coffee hot enough if you drink it black. Use the Bold/Strong button for average strength coffee.
I gave this four stars. It really is fine for me. The coffee is not especially hot when it comes out – it is at a nice, hot temperature for drinking. If you generally add some cold cream to your coffee, it may not be hot enough for you. Also, I don’t like my coffee particularly strong – okay – people say that the coffee I like is weaker than the strength of the coffee they like – and I didn’t hit the bold/strong button the first time I used this, 10 ounces of coffee for a mug, and the coffee was too weak. The next time, I hit the bold/strong button and the machine made a 10-ounce cup at the strength I like. So, I like this. It works fine for me. If you want to make large cups of strong coffee, the coffee probably won’t be strong enough for you. Noticeably weaker than a keurig. If you want to add cold creamer, the coffee probably won’t be warm enough for you. The coffee maker looks good on the counter, and the brewing capacity is good.
Update: It’s been a month, and there are a couple of things worth noting. I still love the size, and the Bold setting gives me exactly the flavor I want. However, it has some strange actions. The brew cycle will sometimes stop, then start again after a bit. The first time that happened we had a mess in the kitchen. Now I know NOT to move the cup until the light goes out. Even then, it will continue to drip after the cycle is done, and the overflow tray overflows regularly.
Today the descale light went on. Did I say I’ve only had it a month? Ok, do the descale thing. Light still on. Do the descale thing again, light still on. Unplug it for 1/2 hour – maybe it needs to reset itself. Plug it back in, light comes back on. I have a request in to support to help me make the light go off.
I’ve had this coffeemaker about a week now, and so far I love it. I believe the coffee is better tasting than with my old Keurig. I love that it takes up half the space on my counter. I like my coffee BOLD and this delivers. I could hardly taste the difference using the Keurig, and the K always gave me problems and they never lasted so I’m done with them. The process takes some getting used to as you have to take the cup out and insert the pod into the cup to puncture it before putting it in the maker and the reservoir does not hold as much water, so you have to fill it more frequently, but it’s also half the price of a Keurig. We’ll see if it lasts better than the Keurig. I’m optimistic.
