I’m in love. I use this with a floor mattress and I’ve never slept better in my life.
I just aired it out overnight. Still had a slight smell, but that’s fading and I really don’t care if it smells like tea/grass.
As long as I get two years or more of proper use out of it, then it’s definitely Money well spent versus a traditional mattress.

This mat has been life saver for my baby and I. I wanted to co-sleep and decided to put my bed on the ground. The only problem was that once I did that the mattress ended up sinking in ways that made my sleep very uncomfortable. After doing some research. I discovered that at tatami mat could help increase firmness and support. I also added a wall topper which seemed to make the perfect balance. Been sleeping so good ever since and very happy with my purchase!
Was a bit skeptical since there were few pictures and reviews. I am using this as part of a living room set up and it fits perfectly. There were like 1-2 spots where the rush grass nicked off but it’s not noticable. I was a little worried at first because some body oils but the more I used it everything just darkened a little so I don’t notice it anymore. Very comfortable and it has remained firm for the first few weeks so far.
Solid and well made. The odor is strong when you open it. HOWEVER You read the instructions it says let it air out, for 24 hours. I left it on my back porch in a midwestern winter for 8 hours and you now have to press your nose against it and breath in DEEPLY to get it.
