The Gift of the year!
I like to keep the house cold in the evening and this heated blanket is a lifesaver for my husband. He is 6’2″ and loves that the blanket is big enough to cover him comfortably. He says that the heating function works well and quickly. this has become his favorite blanket in the house. The fabric is very soft to the touch and the cord is long enough for him to have some movement in his chair. We have not had to investigate the washability of this blanket but with it being an electric blanket, I don’t think that the traditional machine wash will be an option. Really, If you live in a colder environment, this blanket is a must and is the perfect gift for friends and family in similar situations!
Warming it UP
I turn it on a half hour before I go to bed. It warms the bottom shhet/ mattress that way my feet are warm. I bought this because my wife keeps the down so low. Since Covid her body temperature is always hot. So I got this very soft blanket to keep me warm.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my bride – who is always cold. This was me upping my game – I’ve bought her warm slippers, a lap blanket for when she’s watching TV, battery operated glove warmers. This year (2025) for Christmas I came across this blanket. And guess what?! Last night while watching TV she suddenly kicked this blanket off after being hidden beneath it from the time she’d arrived home from work and said “I’m so warm!” This may change the trajectory of our long Wisconsin winters. I don’t think I’ve ever heard her utter these words at night while snow covers the countryside. Highly recommend if you want to be a hero this winter.
