The Secret To Perfect Dough
This proofing box is a game changer for my baking, giving me perfect control over every rise. The digital display is super easy to read and I love being able to set both a precise temperature and a specific timer. It holds a consistent warmth, which is exactly what my sourdough starter and pizza dough need to thrive, especially on a chilly day. The design is surprisingly compact when folded up, making it simple to store in my small kitchen. The durable plastic and metal components feel sturdy and well built, standing up to frequent use without a problem. It’s an indispensable tool for anyone serious about making bread at home.
1st off the unit is incredibly well packaged, please see the pictures. They designed the packaging extremely well, so you can be confident that when you order it, it will arrive in good condition. would suggest to the manufacturer that they consider putting a removable paper across the copper strip, which is meant to look really nice but when you don’t protect it during shipping, even when you did a good job, probably in handling at the factory you end up, scratching the copper, unfortunately.
Performance — the unit works as advertised, it proofs bread up in short order, which is really nice and saves energy because my oven is large and even though it has a proofing mode, it’s a much bigger enclosure and it’s basically just using like a light bulb to heat that apartment and it takes time , this gets to work quickly. I also used it to thaw some chicken and it thawed it incredibly quickly yet did not affect the meat in any way, like a microwave or submerging it would do.
Convenience — I love the fact that everything is designed to collapse down to size that is a little larger than a laptop so it’s very easy to put it away in the kitchen.
Price — the unit is not inexpensive, but its multi use and easy storage make it a really good tool and in the scheme of what good appliances cost it’s worth it and just the energy savings overtime would probably pay for the unit.
