Not safe if your young child is a climbe
The product is fine but my 20 month yo grandson is a climber and I bought this so he could see what was going on on the kitchen counter when my daughter was preparing food, etc. He uses it as a ladder to get up on the kitchen island and counters so we had to put it away!
Very sturdy and not hard to put together; took about 30 minutes. Love how easy it is to fold and store. Perfect for my 18 month old who loves to be in the kitchen. Much easier for me to get things done when I don’t have to hold him!
This toddler tower has been a great purchase. It feels stable when my toddler climbs in and the steps give good grip. The height is right for helping in the kitchen or brushing teeth at the sink. The foldable design makes a big difference, you can store it without taking much space. The latch feels secure and the material wipes clean fast. If you want a helper tower that is solid and convenient, this one works well.
Convenient and sturdy for toddlers
Works great for my grandchild when she is visiting. Platform is large enough for her to stand on and move around without fear of falling. Fold up easily for storage when she is not here.
I have put together a few of these toddler stools / towers. This is by far the simplest and best designed of them. It is easy to put together. It is not very heavy, but build well and is easy to reconfigure as your child grows.
My son loves that he can again see what I am doing and help me, as much as he can safely, in the kitchen or other areas of my home. He often wants to bring this stool to another area of the home to just get up a little higher or play on it.
You could apply a stain or sealer to this if you wanted to as all of the material the is supply is unfinished an natural in its appearance. I would advise something water based if you did. There are many good polyurethan water based stain and sealers that would do that.
